This whole thing has seriously been a cluster, start to finish. Constant issues, and now the 10 hour war started DAYS before it was supposed to. All of these issues have continuously derailed peoples’ plans, and this is an event that basically requires using vacation time to even compete.
Obviously, none of these issues were planned, but this whole thing seems pretty well botched, and not really an acceptable state for such a pivotal event (for some of us, this was the reason to play anniversary over era until TBC).
There’s no good reason this should be SUCH a cluster as it’s been, and it’s really put a huge damper on the whole event for it to have faced the constant issues it has.

Let’s not forget this is, at least, the 4th time they’ve done it. Vanilla, Covid classic, SoD, and now WWIII Classic… you’d think by now they’d have some sort of clue how to make it work.
Or here is a better idea. Scrap it and move to Naxx.
For some reason the only ones that want to extend it are those in guilds that paid other guilds to slow the opening for more mounts/titles.
I’d rather just catch up to where we should actually be on a “faster cadence”.

Well in my case there’s work and other appointments that were actually scheduled specifically to allow us to play with our friends and now we are missing out because blizzard can’t follow a 20 year old timeline
Completely agree
If you are, or in a guild that cared enough to get an SL on anniversary legit need to seek professional advice…
Can’t imagine doing that grind on a seasonal meme server
Get to has nax and TBC let’s go
Yeah, it’s honestly kind of bizarre for it to have gone THIS off the rails. But I also think Blizzard set off on the wrong foot by having the phase launched several months early, at a time when focus was being split between the end of SoD, MoP Classic, and this new collector event on retail.
Just made this extraordinarily painful to stay on top of.
