I’d like to see this kind of follow up from Devs too…not just “we heard you” during one year, then some blue post from CMs but not a Dev response…like the Love rocket drop being address by a reward dev last year and 0 input from the same Dev this year.

False. Classic plus would be huge for the game. If you run that side by side to classic fresh then everyone has a home. I prefer classic fresh myself but small changes that make sense to shake up the meta would be nice without disruption of the classic feel would be welcomed my way.

Nonsense. Classic Era can develop in any number of ways. The only finite parameters are exclusion of the content put forth in retail’s expansions.
Adding a quest to nuke The Dark Portal in Blasted Lands would be a flavorful addition to its lore. Who knows? Perhaps doing so would trigger a world event where unstable portals begin popping up across Azeroth and our job is to shut 'em down ESIV: Oblivion-style!

Classic plus would die in a matter of months. when you rerelease a old game it only has so much it can do. season of mastery is nothing more then rerereleasing raids and scaling things up its nothing special. what you want is classic retail where they release new content into classic but then its not classic its just a new off shoot of retail.
The reason its called CLASSIC is because its what CLASSIC WoW was back when it was retail.
The small whiny casuals want retail fresh because they want everyone to regrind and not have to improve to do end game content.

Respectfully I disagree. We want fresh because we have naxx geared toons gate keeping raids and running cringy GDKPs boosting everyone. Even playing field is the appeal.
Classic is all about the journey not so much the destination. Sure raiding is great and ranking is great but the journey is the meat and potatoes of classic.
Even if they upgraded graphics it would be welcomed for so many. They can achieve what we want in many ways without ruining it.
If anything the boost with the toys and mount is what crapped on that. But blizz needs their money even over the integrity of the game.

Classic+ means the creation of novel content that isn’t in retail, for the base version of the game aka Phase 7.

No. The base game was launched in the early 2000s and since has had numerous expansions. Classic is a 2019 release of this base game with currently 6 phases. Classic players are asking for a Phase 7. You already know this but are choosing to be obtuse, presumably to avoid admitting there are people that play a different version of WoW than you and are asking for dev attention.
