This week in M+ is just absolutely terrible (Tyrannical)

So I’m just checking the leaderboards today…

  • 99 Mists timed 12 and higher.
  • 2 De Other Side timed 12 and higher.
  • 43 Halls of Atonement timed 12 and higher.
  • 14 Plaguefalls timed 12 and higher.
  • 5 Sanguine Depths timed 12 and higher.
  • 11 Spires timed 12 and higher.
  • 9 Necrotic Wake timed 12 and higher.
  • 7 Theater of Pain timed 12 and higher.

I think this should stand out as a bit of a redflag that Tyrannical and these affixes together are just completely ridiculous. My group that pushes keys and myself have just decided we’re not doing anything this week but Mists and HoA to do our Great Vault reward because its pure torture trying to push anything else.

You try and do Spires and the 2nd bosses orbs literally one shot you at 10+ during the second phase. Sanguine Depths and Theater of Pain are both a complete disaster for melee with the whirlwinds spawning constantly, especially on the last bosses for both. People can get knocked off the ledge on the last boss in SD or they’ll be one right in your path way when she does a laser.

Hakkar in De Other Side will soft enrage unless you have insane DPS it’s almost undoable.

Yes- I think there is a clear scaling issue with tyrannical this week. The tornados are cancer but not the root issue. We gave up after 15 attempts on Stitchflesh and our best was 20%.

Thanks Activision for wasting a week of mythic dungeon progression.

These bossfights are much more close quarters with loads more immunity phasing than BFA dungeons- facts.

Everything is overtuned besides the raid imo.

Considering yesterday there was over 200+ completed keys 12+ of each dungeon? Some of them were way higher than that.

M+ literally got stopped in its tracks this week.

It’s trolling because you’re making a skewed point based off of inaccurate data? If you compared this Tuesday to last Tuesday, it would be more accurate than the claim you are making. You’re basing your post off of yesterday… after a week of keys with different affixes to today. Perhaps you should take another science course or two because your data represents nothing.

Have you done any keys this week? Or last week. The step up in difficulty this week is pretty ludicrous. There’s a definite learning factor. We’re finding we can kill bosses with very precise play, but to get a considerable amount of additional gear and to feel like we’ve taken a massive step backwards in power is a serious shock to the system.

I don’t think this level of variance between weeks is at all healthy. Nobody should feel so dissuaded from playing the game that they swear to avoid it. This will be a common sentiment this week.

This is literally how it is this week. My entire guild farmed the crap out of M+ and pumped out 700-800+ ios in week one and most of us got up to iLvl 195-200 and we walked into M+ today and was like what the heck is this crap? Literally every single guild member has basically decided they’re not pushing any keys this week.

I look on Discord and I’m seeing the same sentiment going on as well on the M+ community discords.

That’s not my argument. It’s pretty obvious it’s going to be a harder week, but saying people did 200 M+ yesterday doesn’t prove any point. It’s a new week with new variables.

You’re going to see a depletion rate that probably matches any of the worst seasons yet. The amount of unfinished keys will be significant.

You don’t need to be a data analyst to feel the massive difficulty jump in keys this week.

Perhaps, but making that claim now is completely baseless.

I think we need to wait to make final statements, for sure. There are lots of m+ teams that are probably raiding and not pushing keys atm.

However, I don’t think many folks will need till the end of the week to give up. This is going to be a rough one.

What I found after hours of multiple 10-12 keys.

The tornadoes are annoying but tyrannical is smashing right now on certain bosses. I did a theater of pain 12 and Kul’tharok was basically globaling dps.

I also did a 11 plaugefall and it seems margrave’s acid rain is over tuned.

10 necrotic - second boss needs an add nerf. Those mages are insane. Your group has to be on point with locking them down.

I’m pushing over 4K hips overall in these dungeons. How are you guys finding tyranny.
