This was done in PTR on an Ele Shaman in Greens Pure single Target PvP in 10 seconds

Now my rotation is probably trash and I probably messed up the setup…but yea this is the kind of damage Ele is putting out on PTR with minimal gear.

  1. Stormkeeper
  2. Primordial Wave
  3. 2x Lightning Bolts to summon 2 Ancestors
  4. Ascendance+Heroism+Flame Ele - This by itself casts machine gun lava bursts lol
  5. Instant Cast LBs which machine gun about 6 Lava Bursts out
  6. You can throw in the double Earth Shock here if you want 2mil damage
  7. Pop Ancestral Swiftness, hit 6 more Instant Cast Lava Bursts
  8. You can also throw in the double earth shock here for around 2mil damage

Lava Bursts on Average in Green gear hitting for about 600k each. Ancestor Lava Bursts hitting for about 300k each. Earth Shock Spam was able to hit about 1mil each. Earth Shock Overload hits about 500k each and random small damage like Flame Shock, Erupting Lava did about 2.8mil damage total.

For sure, but without Immunity the target is probably dead. Most likely when you see Stormkeeper go off you know you’re about to get exploded. And really it’s

1 Global Stormkeeper
1 Global Primordial Wave
2 Globals Lightning bolt
1 Global for buffs
2 Globals Lava Burst
And however many Earth Shocks you wanna throw…I think I was able to throw like 7 or 8 in a row with this.

So about 6 globals without the Earth Shocks.

Nah bo, all it takes is to trade a cds, if that. Ele damage seems impressive always, effective in lower brackets but get shut down higher up. Ele is really nice utility wise though.

Yea I couldn’t really do Arenas against it, I just dueled against it as Hunter and even tried Walling and Pet Sacing the opener and still was insta-dead. Probably easier to live with a Healer who can put on like a 7mil Shield or something.

Now granted my gear is trash on this Ele…the Shaman I dueled had about 637 PvP iLevel against my Hunter. So his damage was much much higher.

Having feign ready for when the damage is actually going to land is more important than pre walling or pet sac on that go. Not that it wasn’t also a good time to pre wall. Let them spend the globals setting it up and then immediately press feign when they ascend to mitigate the majority of that damage that all lands at the same time.

Okay, the rotation is super wrong and LB doesn’t summon ancestors, but yeah ele burst looks nutty. Fortunately they already nerfed ascendance activation, ascendance overloads, and the flame shock consumption by 50% in pvp that’s not reflected on the dummies.

Yeah, only on the PTR, but you can just get all the latest things to test with.

There’s also a hub in Orgrimmar for Horde toons.

Can I make set on this vendor?

There is a separate set vendor just across from the PvP vendor, but having it as PvP gear I’m not sure about.

The catalyst engine in Dornogal has enough Harmonized Silk for me to get 3/4 set. No idea how to get the last one.

The target dummy doesn’t have versatility and some of the pvp modifiers don’t seem to work on it. It’s not 1:1 with real dmg. It feels a lot less on players.

That said…20th anniversary patch ele is gonna absolutely explode noobs.
