Said Esfand on Nmplol (Sodappopin friend Nick) stream when he was being questioned about why he took the loot.
He, Nick, actually put him in a corner telling him that why did he took the loot in the first place, that people were mad about that and not because he was exploiting the raid intentionally. He said to him that it didn’t mattered how the bug presented itself what mattered was that he took the damn loot.
They weren’t even attacking him they were just there talking common sense, Nick said to him that if he had not taken the loot he would have looked really well to the people, as a person with a really high sense of integrity and moral, but he didn’t.
All he said and repeated was:
“This was a non issue…” like blaming everyone for sharing how his guild got to loot bosses twice because of a bug.
This a really failed logic right there, is just like a criminal saying:
“This was a non issue until someone looked at the video recorded by the vigilance cameras…”
Why does he think that he and his guild are ENTITTLED to get the loot of a bugged raid?, why does he think he gets a free pass for this and other people don’t?
Why does Blizzard thinks this aswell?
They should delete the items on stream if they have some integrity left and want to come clean after this situation.
We are not even asking for a ban, just get rid of their items, that’s it, they don’t get to loot a raid twice because of a bug.
Well they should just come clear about this because as far as i know we all the players pay the same subscription that Esfand pays so we should get the same treatment.
It isn’t as if the exploit is particularly a big deal if someone uses it once. The EXPLOIT is an exploit because people could purposefully do it multiple times, and reap quick benefits that would prove valuable in the long term. Looting the boss a second time certainly provides a nice immediate benefit that shouldn’t have been there, but not a large enough one to cause any long-term problem.
Looting twice once, and then looting twice again, and then looting twice again… that’s an issue.
Honestly, the amount of entitlement the average consumer seems to have in this day and age is constantly astounding. Any normal gamer in that situation is gonna take the extra loot. They got in contact with Blizzard before clearing to ensure it would not be perceived as an exploit. Also, news flash, it didn’t affect my game play NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST!
you should know by now that streamers are worth more to blizz then you are
What can you offer? one sub? two? maybe 40 if you are rich?
well this streamer dude can offer himself and 100000 others
why would blizz punish the people who make them more money.
welcome to being a second class user
And the resulting exploitation of this bug by those who viewed the streams? It undermined the integrity of the endgame. It’s pretty foolish to suggest otherwise.
