This version of classic feels horrible

Honestly I don’t even feel like the problem is on blizzard’s end beyond the rushed cycle. I think that loot distribution and being forced to rush through everything in a 1 year timeline is pretty bad, but the other issues certainly compound with this.

8 total lockouts till BWL, with most people likely missing at least the first is going to feel miserable.

Every Single Group has 20 HRs in it, for dungeons. It is so hard to find a group to do a run, because the LFG channel is just a ton of individual parties LF xyz “all loot HRed”.

I haven’t found a single Strat or Scholo group yet, I pretty much have to form all my Ubrs runs it just sucks.

On top of that my loot luck has been rubbish, 51 runs and havent seen TSS or either Dalrend drop feelsbadman.

I have the most elegant solution for you.

Return to Classic Era, because it is BiS.

There really isn’t anything for me to do in Era.

I know it sounds daunting occasionally, but I enjoy building SSF characters on Whitemane. Its awesome fun.

dungeons post-ZF are much less popular outside the very specific farming. It’s kinda sad.

What do you enjoy about Classic in general?

I did really enjoy the leveling experience in 2019, and played through it on a couple of toons on each faction, getting to experience some classes I hadn’t played before, and I had never played Alliance prior to that, so that was an interesting perspective.

BG throwers, and devs seemingly catering to them ended up turning me off of Classic in general, and I have a really hard time wanting to play anything involving the community the current dev team is cultivating.

Which I guess is ultimately just echoing your sentiment here:

:woman_shrugging:

This version of classic is bogged down by the selfish mindset of many players. This game requires the help of others to get what you want, and if you want people to help you you need to help them back. So many times I see people leaving others S.O.L as soon as they get theirs.

I noticed this too :expressionless: disgusting
this community is shameful

Feels about the same as last time to me tbh

No it isn’t. Just start your own group. It’ll take a few minutes, but really only a few. No need to sit around hoping someone takes you into a group that you like when you can just make your own. There are so many people playing right now, and the amount of people doing dungeons at endgame is just going to increase daily as people get within the level range.

As a mage, I find a tank first, then a priest or shaman healer; after that I grab a rogue and hunter. I keep the group balanced and just don’t worry about loot competition.

For the UBRS runs, there’s a bazillion of those at any given time. Just join the ones that don’t have the stuff you want HR’d. It’s really not hard at all.

Yeah, I am guild hopping until I see some actual grown ups that just want to play the game for fun…fun guys…yes, fun. strange concept, i know.

Same timeline as Classic 2019 but we don’t get a year of Naxx before TBC.

You don’t have to do raids as soon as they open.
You can just do MC the entire time if you really want to.

Start your own groups.

Loot luck is just loot luck.
Don’t play the game for loot play it because you enjoy the content.
If you don’t enjoy the content getting better loot won’t make you enjoy it.

I think we will have more than 8 lockouts. Roadmap says spring and we have 14ish weeks until the first day of spring but we also have phase 2 coming in between there as well. We probably get ~20 lockouts until bwl and everyone will be running mc/bwl until AQ at least and even then people will still be running it.

If you want to raid classic, get a guild, don’t try and pug it, pugging is the absolute worst way to raid, especially early in content and its not surprising at all that almost all the good items would be on Hard Reserve if your pugging. Unless your progressive raiding, the fact that BWL will open a bit early doesn’t matter, as most guilds will do both MC/BWL until AQ40 opens, and then will shift to it then Naxx. Those guilds that do the content weekly will have plenty of gear to move to the next level, and like in the past ZG/AQ20 when released will easily allow you to catch up. Here is the thing though, you can keep doing those raids even after TBC launches at the end of next year, and even if you move on then, you still get an entire year of MC.

As for the amount of time, its more then enough. Also there is nothing wrong with the pacing, it hasn’t even really started to effect anything yet, I mean your complaining about MC ending , and finding dungeon groups which are not that hard to find. Now if choose to play a warrior because well its really the only good DPS class, get ready to put some time in for R14, but even without the pacing thats almost always been the requirement.

I doubt its going to be a 1 year cycle. They have said they were gonna do a rush schedule with Cata classic, SoD, and even before and there is always some sort of delay.

Im betting its gonna be longer than a year.

Read these words and think deeply about them.

You don’t need to be BIS gear to clear this content.

Your guild will get enough MC gear for BWL. And if you don’t then you just have to wait on doing BWL.

You are not promised to be able to do BWL on day 1.

Some guilds NEVER got a thunderfury in original Classic release. Them’s the breaks.

Also you aren’t supposed to stop running MC when BWL comes out. This isn’t retail or WOTLK.
