This Thread in General Discussion really needs to GO

The players posting here are just that - other players, not representatives or employees of Blizzard. Even the MVP’s are other players; everyone posting here volunteers their time to assist other players.

This forum is Customer Support, which is really just a player assist player forum, with some blue moderation. It’s not really a place to get in game or forum assistance in any way.

That said, I can certainly understand why you’d feel frustrated and upset at some of the threads that get posted. The moderation team does respond to reports and acts on the accordingly, but the forums aren’t always highly staffed… so if threads or posts last longer than you think they should, it may be a sparse time in mod coverage.

As irritating as that is, there isn’t a lot that can be done to speed it along. Once you’ve reported the thread, try to avoid it if you can to not upset yourself further, especially if the content is extremely inappropriate. You can only control your own reactions, so you can’t really prevent others from engaging and going down the rabbit hole… and trying to monitor and report every offensive post will only add to your lament.

Honestly, once you’ve reported the thread itself, a mod will scour the entire thing, and either remove the offending posts (if there’s only a few), or will just delete the entire thread if the majority of it runs afoul of the CoC. If people make ‘continuation’ threads, report those, and understand that penalties become more severe the more people ignore the rules, even on the forums.

Try not to let it get to you, some people are miserable and don’t seem to feel bad putting it on display.
