Which is more than I can say for a the last couple expansions.
Tears of joy - despair - I mean heck I just went saw Loamm get burned. I didn’t think we would…get to see all of that, y’know?
I stuck around the Niffen for a bit. Before doing the questline. Got to know some of the villagers and was always happy to see them when I was doing digs or WQs.
I didn’t think I’d be so devastated to see them go - and to see how hard they tried to escape.
Gods.
Darnit.

What we really need from there is murlocs, furbolgs and quillboar to have a “Battle of the Five Armies” scenario play out.

I could feel the slight “sting” behind my eyes when Wrathion and Sabellian started getting along, they were quite genuinely expressed in the cutscenes, I was surprised.
I think that was it though, unless I recall feeling that again between Ebyssian and Cindrethresh.

ngl, df is the weakest story i’ve seen in wow. every character just talks about family and how people dying is bad and how they’re sad about it. Not to mention they assassinated wrathion so ebonhorn the neutral could become the new aspect of the black dragons.
Btw did you know titans bad? We won’t tell you why but the incarnates think so and they’re the bad guys so they must be right!

I stopped watching cinematics because of how cringe and Disneylike this expansion is. And WoW is already peak cringe storytelling, so it’s stopped being funny and gone into territory so derivative and ridiculous that I Just click through everything.

They’ve been telling us why for years like literally do not care about us and in WotLK we were almost wiped off the face of Azeroth because of a Titan emergency backup plan in the Ulduar Raid.

Nah the story is extremely lame. The niffan are an utter joke and it was a bit cathartic to see their city burned. Just for the phase to end and nothing of note actually having happened.

Because i absolutely love and adore wows story until about… shadowlands? Even then i still play the actual content M+ and arena. I just think the story is incredibly weak. I dont need a “save the heckin ducks” or “dig this grave for a random who cares centaur isnt this so sad” every other quest.
Credit where credits due i actually liked sabellion and wrathion in the actual raid.
But the niffan are just straight up braindamaged and really annoying. "LEMME GET A WHIFF OF YA"SNIIFFSNIIIIFFF Every time you click on one is… disheartening to say the least.
