50 isn’t enough for some of us. The alt-o-holic community may not be a majority of your player base but it is part of your player base. If you increased the amount of characters per account to 60 70 or even 100 then you’d get so much respect from your most loyal players. It’s such an easy change and you know you want more love Blizz.
Increase the amount of characters per account to more than 50 PLEASE.
I spend some of my month just keeping up my game time with a wow tokena dn really would feel super uncomfortable if I had 2 wow accounts.
I have 25 120s that I rotate between dailys and rares, I like it. I love having an army. I have a ton of allied races that I’ve leveled up to 80-100 that I do not want to delete. I have leveled a character up with boost given with each expansion. I’ve done every recruit a friend ever created. My brother wants to level a character with me with the new scaling system to quest together. I’m running out of room!!!
Shadowlands is going to offer a fresh new leveling system that I am SO excited about. I LOVE QUESTING! I LOVE LEVELING! It’s been 15 years of 50 characters per account. Let us be free and increase out ability to enjoy your game more the way we like to.
I don’t speak for everyone because some people don’t understand how people can play this many alts effectively but there is many of us who effectively enjoy a MASS ARMY of characters! Let us enjoy your new leveling system. Let us enjoy speed running to level cap and beat our personal best /played !!!
Lift us beyond limits and give all players who play in many different ways the love they deserve. We love World of Warcraft, Love us back with letting us freely make more and more characters!! <3

Voicing my support for this kind of thing again.
Speaking from the only perspective that matters, which is numbers, this game has been around for over 15 years. Some of us have been playing that long. Every expansion, we have a lull / content drought where the amount of alts people have grows.
Couple that with the fact we had AR’s introduced, new customizations coming, heritage armors and such motivating people to make characters of all different backgrounds and race / class combinations - and you have a problem that people are running out of slots.
We need more slots, honestly. Even just 10 more would be a huge benefit to this kind of community. Every couple of months, I wind up having to delete characters. It’d be nice to not be in that position.

I am 1 away from hitting 50 so I would welcome more slots, even 10 like Shadina said would go a long way.

We need more posts like this in the forums to help Blizzard get the point of some QOL changes.
They recently increased how many pets hunters can stable by a large amount. Now, give us more character slots, please!

Wait. Huh? You guys seriously have close to 50 different toons on your account? I mean, like, wait…what? I must be misreading something. 50 different characters that you have spent time doing “something” with in World of Warcraft? Truly not mocking, I am asking honestly.

Not sure why its so hard to comprehend that some people just really like leveling alts. Leveling is my favorite part of the game.

Yeah. I guess it makes sense. Especially for those that have been playing this game for many years. I have a hard time keeping track of 3 characters, I can’t even imagine 40 or 50 lol. When you log in, how do you choose?
And yeah, I absolutely hate leveling. Hate hate hate. When I say hate, I don’t mean dislike strongly. I HATE leveling. But if I did enjoy it, I can see how I would get to that many slots after a number of years.

I totally support an unlimited cap only because I want some crazy person out there to make a max level toon of each gender, race and spec
584 combos if you wanted 1 race at every spec, 1,168 combos for making one gender of every race for every spec + another 24 if you wanted to make both Panderan A and Panderan H separately

I support an increased or unlimited cap as well. I’m not even an “altoholic”, I enjoy having a couple really strong characters to focus on at a time. I just feel like those who do enjoy alt play deserve a cap much higher than 50. Considering Blizzard has released so many allied races, it only makes sense to increase the character cap.
Please, Blizzard - hear us out on this and deeply consider it! /moo 
Either this, or go the final fantasy route and give us access to every class / profession on one character, and increase storage a ton. Then you can simply play the one character.

Not gonna happen. Blizz probably wants you to log off of the game once in a while, tine metrics notwithstanding.
Increasing more characters per account is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
So you think increasing the character cap of FIFTY is going to end up in lawsuits? I want to hear your reasoning on this.

Kinda how people sued McDonalds for making them fat with their supersize?
Someone will claim that wow made them X by having hundreds of alts available; they were ‘compelled’ to play them.
If I were Blizz, I’d keep the number of characters where it currently is, and actively encourage people that want even more characters to log off the game once in a blue moon.
I personally have no use for more than 50 since I have less than 10 characters and I’ve been playing since MoP, but if other people need it let them have it.
What does it hurt?

No one’s making people eat McDonald’s. No one is forcing people to play all of their WOW characters, all day, every day. People make their own decisions, then experience the consequences. That’s how life works. There’s no law suit there - if there is, it’s a crap law suit.

This could work. Maybe some kind of a paid system.
It’s actually easier to earn gold with multiple accounts.
