It is, but you are right that Aspiring Aspirant is somewhat redundant, but within the context of the Kyrian culture it would be acceptable.
They have people that work to gain a rank within their society of Aspirant, those that gain the rank can then aspire to gain an even higher rank or they can stagnate there as long as they feel they need before facing the trials to move up ranks.
So an Aspiring Aspirant is one that wants to move up to the next rank of Kyrian culture.
