I just try to glad push on my alt at 2200 CR, queued with some 2130ish rated folks, queues are this rating are like 3mins, only to queue into the same r1 ret/disc rex guy 3244 rated selling carry literally 5 times in a row, after they stoped queueing or something, queue into the same jungle who were 2400 CR 4 times in a row, then some sort of 2100 rated turbo that we beat like 3 times in a row, mainted a 58% win/loss against these folks, only to end up 10 rating less than what i started.

Thats really nice of you. But unfortunately i am on work days as of tomorow now and cant play during the day due to family etc.
I beleive this is why i never hit my potential rstings in arena.

No one I know is quitting because it’s boring. People are quitting because gear is a mess and ratings are a mess. Even ignoring all the issues of damage, meta specs, you name it… the main issue is just gear. Sadly, 9.1 doesn’t fix this.

So long as 1400 to 2400 are vastly different ilvl brackets pvp will unforch be a mess.
You cant have ppl in 226 gear floating around at 1500 its not fair and blizzard does nothing about it.

I kept facing teams 100-150 mmr lower than me the other night but they were out gearing my 213 ilvl with 220-226. Needless to say my “skill” wasnt enough and i ended up tanking cr even tho i went 9 w / 8 l

For me it is the boosters + r1s/streamers playing at lower brackets. They are gatekeeping higher ratings. Unless you get really lucky with your queue sessions, there isn’t a point to play.

sure. the reason the boosters are a problem now though is because of the gear. that’s why we have so many boosters. People want boosts because of how hard it is to get gear in both PvP and PvE. Lack of drop rates in PvE means more people PvP for gear which means more boosts. Then, top onto that the disparity between brackets and it’s even harder to get gear in PVP.
So in the end, it’s still a gear issue.
gear being rating locked is terrible for the players and nobody wants it but…blizzard prolly makes alot of money selling tokens so people can buy carries…looks like everyone went back to TBC anyways
MMR/Matchmaking is way off. I’ve never seen this kind of mess before. Me and some irl friends were chilling and capping but we kept facing a 2400+ team with 1715 MMR - how’s that even possible??
