The buffed drops are nice but it is not enough if you get the best possible rng on 6 rares in a hour you will get 18 tokens. Thats not even half a piece after an hour of work.
Too be fair it’s actually 3-5 minutes of work and 55+ minutes of waiting. At least that’s what I’ve read. Guess I’m only looking to do enough to get the 2 mounts. Then maybe delves. 
This isnt even a lie. I am losing my mind waiting for the rares to spawn for pennies. I honestly think gearing with the older catchup mechs from previous patches is probably faster which isnt good D:
In a couple of previous pre-expansion events you could gear a character head to toe in 3 or 4 hours… and adding an hour or two would allow you to reach maximum level on a low level alt.
I’d like to see something more like that.
