At least Icecrown rares were somewhat unique.

This is just mob grinding.

I tried to do the event for the heirloom, got bored 30 mins in, thought about how much I actually needed the heirloom when I have all the classes at max level and logged to try the new class.

I have the fire piece.

Missed the earth guy because the fire piece finally dropped right as the last invasion ended.

Now camping the air guy.

Already unlocked the full plate set and weapons.

Well just got Storm on the 2nd kill. At least that’s done. 2 to go now for that trinket. Just sitting on mount now waiting for boss, no point in grinding the mobs.

I assumed when the time was up on the earth and fire invasions that we’d get the air and water invasions. But earth and fire popped up again.

Right ? Legion’s pre-patch felt so epic. Just armies in the sky flying from lieutenant to lieutenant and then the massive epic brawl with the big guy.

yeah, was odd. was Fire/Fire/Earth. timer reset and ended up getting Fire/Storm/Storm.

I also thought there was one in Tirisfal Glades too, but no matter which time era I’m in I only ever see 3 invasions at a time.

I saw Fire/Earth/Earth, then it was Fire/Fire/Earth and now Storm/Fire/Storm.

These trinket pieces though, requiring you to kill these bosses multiple times just feels like they’re stretching out the event because it’s otherwise so slim on content.

Killed 7 bosses, only 1 heirloom token. I’m at the point where I’d rather just sit above it watching a show and wait for the boss.

between faction tag locked, no drop from the trinket and just out right boring mob grinding. Looking to pass on this event. Probably the worst invasion event ever seen

My night elf was doing a round of the anniversary bosses (next up trying the dungeon), ported into the mage tower, and found invisible walls around Stormwind?

I’m seeing grey mobs again, which I hadn’t seen since the start of the prepatch.

They are capped on the number of people who can tag them, but not faction tagged.

About the only reason I’m doing it is to level up some mid-50 level toons to 60 so I can take them into the expac for their proffs.

I agree though, its very bland. It reminds me a bit of the Barrens prepatch where we would fly around from spot to spot attacking elites for stuff. I guess they just like using the same recipe with different ingredients.

I keep hearing this. But I’ve done lots of busy world quests and like I said, I hadn’t seen grey mobs since the prepatch. They were extremely common prior to that.

But I’ll take your word for it that you believe what you are saying.

Fiddled with it for 20 minutes, did an Uldaman, then went back to grinding Korrak’s Revenge on my hunter, and farming old stuff for T-mogs

EDIT: GOT MY OTHER HALF OF THE THUNDERFURY! Yay!

The only quest I have sends me killing quilboars by an obelisk that makes the sky red? What am I doing wrong? :3
