word of advice OP, if you don’t have the nards to post on your main and have to post on an 110 alt, it’s probably not going to go over well.
The thing that is really confusing to me is that people are ok with Benthic being BiS for raiders, but it was apparently a problem when PvP gear was used as filler gear…in the same exact way?
Like I just can’t understand the removal of PvP Vendors and then they supply the community with Benthic.

They should have added additional pearls in heroic and mythic that you could use on benthic stuff to increase the item level by 10.

I mean with that copout nothing means anything because everything will eventually be irrelevant. So all complaints on the forums are not necessary. Because in 9.0 none of this will matter

Tbh, an easy solution would be to make the enhancements/perks that Benthic offers on armor, onto a vendor for players to purchase and apply to armor. Make them recipes that drops from the creatures of Nazjatar and bring them to the vendor for them to forge onto your armor of your choosing.
Make it cost Manapearls for all I care.

Baron’s Mount: Don’t know how many times I’ve tried for this since BC? Guess what dropped one day in a lowbie random during Cata? Baron’s Mount drops: I roll a 1.
Saurfang’s Trinket in 25m ICC: Can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve run that fight. My hunter was considered jinxed on our server because that thing never dropped once. That was a BIS trinket for a lot of classes at the time.
Never seen in it drop on the hunter.
This is why the WQ system is in place.
Do you not understand how to the WQ system works? The gear that drops from those quests depends on your ilvl. I think the main continent gear caps out at 385 now (emissaries are different).
With Bethnic gear: you still have to collect the manapearls to be able to upgrade them. Guess what? Not everyone is obsessed with ilvls, however since Blizzard needed a reason to get people to go play in the new lands Bliz had to attach an incentive to get even people that normally would just sit in queue all day a reason to go out into the world.
I don’t know how many times I have to repeat this: it is a catch up/bad RNG mechanism.
It’s not the end of the world like certain people are trying to make it out to be. You’re gonna be okay.
I do not care if shot your self in foot. I spend most of my time doing my own thing. I just grab what gear sim the best for me. If it good. yeah. if bad look for better piece. No way am i going to chase something. If i not doing high end . This is how few friends feel also.
I am never going to be at the ilvl, so frankly who cares? If I do, it’ll probably be next patch.
Why do we have to go through this every single patch?
It’s amazing how raiders worry so much about what casuals are doing. Casuals don’t give raiding a second thought and could care less about your achievements.

Raiders dont want to use (farmable) gear 20-30 levels lower than their content level because an equip effect.

No! Once you step foot in a raid you are an elititst who wants gear to flex their epeen! Once you step into a raid you are no longer a casual, in fact you hate casuals and just want to steal all their gear
