Zaralek is kind of just bad. It doesn’t have a fraction of the cool stuff TI had. Blizzard was way too conservative with ZC especially after we just had Forbidden Reach which was much better.
Here is hoping that Time Rifts can be the salvation of open world content otherwise you are going to continue to see subs drop.

Shadowlands was bad because it dragged everything out and bad everything so much more inconvenient than it needed to be.
Why did we need to go to our covenant halls to pick up our emissaries when they used to be automatic?
Why did going from one zone to another need a 2 minute flight path?
Why did world quests need so many steps?
Why did you need so much anima to get a single bit of transmog?
Why did torghast take so incredibly long to run?
Why did you have to get so many souls from the maw?
The content was there, they just made it all annoying for no reason.

It isn’t? M+ has been the same thing for years and it is still fun. Forbidden Reach was fun. This idea that people are tired of open-world zones is bunk because for some reason people don’t want to think this was on Blizzard (or alternatively they want Blizzard to reinvent the game because they personally have grown bored).
So are you saying that alt catch up makes things fun?
Yeah its a zone almost designed by an intern who knows only basics and somehow they let it go through. Sucks.
