This is a you problem. I’m not a fan of undermine but the lack of “darkness and grit” is not the reason. If you minimize the game when someone walks in that’s on you
I don’t recall WC3 being “dark and gritty”. The colors were bright and vibrant and the overall theme was rather cartoonish, as WoW is. Diablo is the more “dark and gritty” Blizzard franchise.
You have the option to turn off the music in the menu if you don’t like it.
If you feel the need to hide your hobby from your significant other, then I don’t know what to tell you. That sounds like a personal thing that you need to work out with her and with yourself. It certainly doesn’t sound like a healthy dynamic by any means.
I’m not a fan of this patch so far, its just a weird attempt at a racing game of sorts. I thought Blizzard was smart enough to not attempt dumb things like this, it didn’t work for Fortnite, and that should speak volumes.
All I want is to get back to the warcraft in BC / WOTLK / WOD ; like seriously, i can see a few gimmicks and a little bit of teehee ; but this is just a step too far and is just corny tbh
Nah it’s a WoW problem. This is a comedy relief intermission patch and it isn’t even funny. Delivery and execution can be a problem. Reception isn’t generally the issue it’s usually simply a justified reaction to bad.
I feel like people who demand for the uber “dark and gritty” segments of WoW’s history never mentally matured out of being 15, because I don’t know of a single adult in my friend group who actually cares about any of this lol
