The novelty of the new arcane familiar has already worn off for me… I have to keep casting arcane intellect on myself as any time I teleport/enter a portal, it disappears. Also, this static constantly flapping ghost-bird is meh… Can I at least please have a glyph to return arcane familiar to its original orb shape?.. Maybe a class hall tome to give me the old spell back so it’s not tied to arcane intellect?

It’s a small annoyance, sure, but a valid one. It should remain active even after you enter a new zone. As far as the looks, I actually like the new one.

Just wish it wasn’t a bird. I get that Medivh was associated with ravens in WC3 but none of that imagry ever carrier over to WoW’s mage class before.
Just a bizzare choice.

I like the bird, but I am all for a glyph option, or several. Or the ultimate a “Set Familiar” ability that open up your pet collection and let you choose one of your pets to become your familiar.

Every time I enter an instance, I lose my Grimoire of Sacrifice, too. And every time a key starts, I lose it again.
So I get to waste time recasing a pet again and sac’ing it while everyone else is like, “What happened to the Warlock?”
These buffs need to persist through zoning and instancing. It’s ridiculous that this is still bugged.
