I just want to say i think this is a great feature.

People think bots are terrible at the game but bots are only bad because people make them bad. A bot can very easily destroy the best raid team or arena team or m+ team in the world if people were willing to let them.
What new AI in dungeons?
Same, I love the idea. Especially if you play as a duo, finally you could enjoy dungeon content more intimately. Great for small groups who want to enjoy the raid together as well (let’s hope all queue times decrease!)
I think it’s a great change. The best thing about torghast was that you could enjoy it solo or in any group size 1-5. My main complaint was that I didn’t want to tank and heal and dps at the same time so this idea directly solves that.
I hope they make good use of it. I loved dungeons before they were a disgusting sprint/aoe fest.

I finally found it buried in a datamined string on MMO Champion:
Watch Blizz troll everybody and only set it as fill-in bots for DPS.
If they do bring this to regualr servers, I hope there will be the ability to form a group and fill out the rest with AI.
FFXIV has “Duty support” where the other party members will be filled out with AI depending on what role you choose, If you queue as tank it will give you a healer and some dps.
Unfortunately its a solo only thing, you cannot do duty support as part of a group.
I hope if they do this it’s a Story Mode for normal dungeons.
If it does occur, I’ll be happy to be able to experience normal dungeons as they were intended and not being run as if they were a M+ run like they are in pugs now.
I don’t trust this at all.
Blizzard AI has influenced our pets since Vanilla, and we still have to babysit them every step of the way to get decent use out of them. Yes, my voidwalker can easily serve as a tank when I’m out solo questing, but I wouldn’t trust it to handle anything more complex than “stand here and autocast” until the mob is dead.
Now imagine AI of that caliber trying to handle an M+ run.
Except nowhere does this talk about M+.
It’s an LFG option called “Dungeon Follower.”
Not “sub in a M+ player.”
I doubt M+ would be the application.
Like SWTOR did with their flashpoints years ago

And we already have an in-game example of it in the Exile’s Reach mini-dungeon
“I feel your anger master.”
