This item is no longer available

I’m trying to buy in the auction house 19x ambivalent ambers to level my jewelcrafting.
And the only thing I’m getting is this message:

“This item is no longer available”

Except there are 26400 posted in the auction house.

Please fix your game.

It’s crazy watching in real time seeing meat go on the AH at 200ish being sold for 1.5g and in a two seconds the 2.3g added more to It’s count.

If a person is undercutting the average price, folks typically buy that to then resell it themselves (or to just use the materials). And those are the items that you are trying to buy.

If fighting for the lowest price available for materials isn’t your thing, choose one of the stacks that have the more stable average price of the materials and buy those. The game is working as intended in this case and you are simply trying to compete for the lowest possible price which hundreds if not thousands of other players are trying to do as well.

I literally have not had this problem and its leading me to believe everyone whining is just mad because they’re only trying to get their items as cheap as possible but are getting beat to the punch by other players or the bots. Seriously just spend a few extra gold and you’ll be fine.

So how do you buy more expensive items in the AH instead of the lowest price?

Do you know how it works or are you purposefully trolling???

If you watch from TSM you can clearly see that someone is wiping the AH and re-posting at much higher price.

So yes, Blizzard is still allowing addon APIs to run rampart and literally make the AH unusable.

If there are posted items, and people ARE in fact buying and reposting, then how is it “Unusable”?

Uh I don’t know, instead of putting in an order or trying to click on the lot at the lowest price maybe just manually click on one of the lots that are a few gold more expensive? Are you for real?

There is no need anymore. Simply match the current price (or go higher if there’s only a few up for that lower price), it will sell immediately 99% of the time if it’s a current content material.

Unless they’ve just changed something, you are literally unable to do this. It forces you to try and purchase the cheapest possible listing.

Please demonstrate you doing this on a material/crafting reagent in a video.

I don’t think they know you can actually pick one of the items at a different price. They seem to think it is all in one large pile ( like wow tokens ) and you just pay the displayed price.

O.o When did they change that? use to be able to just pick one of the posted ones?

“If you watch close you can see an imaginary pony so then I can blame it on that rather than me not buying things at the average price.” Quit blaming your shortcomings on folks using addons.
No, it isn’t unusable. You are just mad that you can’t buy things for cheaper and are mad at others who beat you to it.

You click on the price you are willing to pay. It defaults to the lowest but you can choose to pay the average rather than fight for the lowest price.

Scripted addons that automatically buy and repost things basically??
That retry the same operation once the item has been spotted and keep trying and again and again.

But then when it is your turn to type the amount you wanna buy, then puff, item no longer available.

I think you don’t know exactly how the AH works, because when it comes to trade goods / raw materials it doesn’t work like that you can select the posting.

You buy quantities and it always come from the lowest price. So if there are scripted bots/addons wiping the lowest posts and re-posting automatically then whenever you try to buy it, then it simply says “this item is no longer available” and it doesn’t even offer me the new possible price going up with the available items.

that is not how it works. But if you’re willing to do that, what about you just record a video showing you doing that with material/crafting reagent.

Ok you’re just trolling. Gotta enjoy flagging your post.

So, you are saying an addon is doing exactly what a player can do, and get beaten to by another player, and there is no proof another player is not just buying it first anyways?

Demonstrate this for me please. I need a visual tutorial.

scripted addon, which skips interface checks like confirmation to buy, etc.
And that keep re-sending the same operation over and over again.

Are you making a honest question or just trolling on purpose?

An honest question. Sorry if it came off as trolly.

You click on the amounts to the side, or you write the amount you want in the middle. It looks ridiculous since there’s plenty of Bismuth available on the realm I did it on with a stable amount. But that’s how you do it.

Ain’t anything more complicated than that.
When there’s a lot of competition you either fight for the lowest price and opt for only the cheapest, or you buy larger amounts and get more but also pay more.

Video ain’t necessary and I ain’t about to spend 142k gold just to demonstrate something to someone who is calling other folks for trolls for not immediately going “BEGONE YOU TSM HELLSPAWN BEGONE” or the like.

This ain’t what TSM is doing. It ain’t skipping anything.

I also didn’t want to sound rude. Apologies if I came prickly with that question.

TSM if properly scripted can set the min and max price to keep auto-buying things in the AH. And with the help of (will not speak the names here) can basically turn your character into a bot repeating the operation.

So you have a set of items that you can keep buying at lowest price and posting higher until you satisfy your criteria.

They usually do it with items that are mostly used in profession level up guides. So, with addons doing massive-repetitive operations they keep clearing the pool which you can buy.

So if you’re trying to buy like 10, 20, 30, 40 quantities, you’re literally passed over because people keep posting and lowering the price that is in the AH and these “players” (let’s not call them bots for now) keep re-buying it with their scripted addons.

Basically whenever you try to buy, you just get a message “this item is no longer available”.

The amount of time I had to spend to buy 16 gems I wish I could’ve bought with the price in the middle and just move on, but unfortunately, it is not possible.

I wanna buy just 100, not 2535.

Try clicking on those 253 and buy just that… oh wait it won’t let you, it will force you to buy EVERYTHING up to those 253.
