Notice where your latency bar is in classic? That’s not where it was at in true Vanilla. In vanilla the little menu bar (Computer monitor icon) was your latency reader. The blue screen would go from green to red.
So, to all you #nochangers… Changes have happened! Better throw a fit.
Blizzard never promised " true vanilla " and that was understood from the outset. They said from the start that it would be the old data on top of the newer client which meant certain things wouldn’t be exactly the same.
If it didn’t have much of an effect on how Vanilla actually played they stated they weren’t going to change it, which is why you can mail more than one item in Classic but you couldn’t in Vanilla.
A lot of people care apparently. You ask for barbershops or the new hair styles they added, (Even on old character models) the #nochangers go crazy because it wasn’t in true vanilla.
It changes how SW looked and it also adds a gold sink to the game that didn’t exist. Mailing an extra item doesn’t do anything but save you a button click.
It opened up 1 building. Not much of change if you asked me… Sending a piece of mail one at a time was a gold sink. Sending mail in this game isn’t free yah know? It used to easily cost ~1 to 5 silver just to send mail.
Just face it… game changing changes have occurred. Therefore the #nochangers mindset is already flunked.
The argument isn’t lost. It wasn’t in vanilla, it shouldn’t be in classic according to #nochangers. It’s a QoL feature that changes how the game plays. But I guess it’s okay to pick and choose certain QoL features. I just need to see the list where the line is drawn.
What setting do I need to put my water at for Classic water? I think I put it up too high.
Yes, I know there’s a classic button. I don’t want to use it. I’m using integrated graphics and the default settings were 720p instead of 1080p. So I made some guesses and raised the quality options for some things like shadows and water.
