I remember in 7.0, when the “newly designed” demo lock was the only “playable” spec in raid and all 3 specs were total trash in M+, Blizzard at least sent out a post saying that they were aware of it. Even though they said they didn’t have plan for demo lock, at least changes have been made to the affliction, so we still have a specialization to play with.

And now, also a .0 version, we don’t even have a single playable spec, and in high-level M+, there aren’t even any team willing to take a warlock. The designers haven’t even post anything to show that they acknowledged the warlock’s issues like they did in 7.0, and they’re even planning to further nerf the class.

This is not just bad playing experience, this is HOPELESS

It’s interesting that you mention that.

I had to go look, that was Legion patch. Yeah, I saw the writing on the wall and unsubbed, didn’t even buy Legion until it was darn near over.

Of course the gating and such really helped Blizzard in our specs not being as exposed so early, but there’s no denying we are in a bad spot.

If it wasn’t for the Destro buff we’d really have seen it earlier.
