I think its a tank issue. I have a 13 NW that I do not need but need to rank to a 14. But made a group, since running your own key tends to have more success, but i sat for 45 mins with no tank or heals. Soon as a tank joined, ironically when the 2 dps left, i had healers and like 1600 io galore. Before tank…nothing. People want quick ez groups but not enough tanks. But as an ex tank main, cant blame them, with pulls,pride,routes, and toxic players, it sucks to tank. My hpally is 4 away from ksm, but despise playing a class just because it gets invites

I just returned at the end of BFA after an 8 year break. I have always been main heals and use dps alts. I had never made any real effort to tank.

When i returned to the game I decided to learn to tank. I spent the end of S4 BFA and the post season to level, learn, and gear my first tank ever. With the help of a long time tank friend, I got it down pretty fast.

I decided to go ahead and main tank for SL. Boy do i regret it. The M+ circuit is utter crap and the absurd cooldowns on taunt/interrupts leaves the tank near powerless to to clean up messes that button mashing DPS create in places like HOA and Necrotic wake. It is so horrible and so garbage that I switched my tank to Raid only and ditched M+ all together. I do not even run it on my life long heals main. It is a garbage system in general and I do feel so bad for tanks right now. They get blamed for everything and have little to no power to lead and control the environment as they have always been able to.

I missed a few expansions. I left the game when the MOP prepatch went live (end of Cata) and just returned in S4 of BFA so I honestly do not know when they decided to crap all over tanks and punish them for garbage DPS mistakes but either way it is stupid.

I am now a casual passive raider with no interested in M+.
