No it is not. No one is going to believe helping people is a main reason for multiboxing. Multiboxers are the people that play video games and always use cheat codes.
I do it because it’s fun. Well I don’t do it as much anymore. It literally gives me migraines from the eyestrain of watching multiple monitors in real time.
Multiboxing kinda cringe /:
Later helped them again. It is awesome being a multiboxer, helping random people with extremely difficult quest mobs - while being massively underleveled to the mob!

…Thereby showing those random people how much more power you have than they do.
No you multibox because it is blizzard sanctioned botting and you want to cheat.
More like its for people who are tired of having to rely on others to be able to do things so they do it all themselves. While it may be faster at killing things, you have to remember the XP decrease is rough and it makes for slower leveling at times. I multibox’ed a warrior and a shaman to 60 together, and it makes grinding mobs for rep a lot easier for both toons.
I don’t think, “helping others” is even remotely why virtually every multiboxer does it.
These threads are ridiculous.
when a company target full community from privat server who was never controlled, you can see the result in wow classic… full cheat, bot, boost saler everywhere…
its like a huge part of classic playerbase should be ban…
Iv’e said it before, I am not anti-multiboxing. But your threads are ridiculous. And what is up with the run of hyperbolic multiboxing apologists? Is it just the same guy trying REAL hard to justify it? Or is it a common mindset?
I was also wondering if it’s the same player.
It’s pretty well-established that Blizzard is fine with multiboxing, so it’s not like our approval really means anything.
In my opinion I think helping others would be a bit lower on the list of why people multi-box. I think it all depends on the person that multi-boxes though.
I don’t multi-box to help other people. I multi-box because I prefer to play the game by myself and enjoy having a bit more self-reliance.
seems more like a flex than an altruistic deed. if a multiboxer came up to me and trivialized a leveling obstacle like that i’d be annoyed.
