I have a level 385 waist…
I complete my mythic run and get my loot and it turns out to be… 385 Waist.
So, I complete the world quest that gives 370 gear and get an upgrade and its… 385 waist.
Vendors wouldn’t give you a 385 piece anyways, dunno why people keep going on about vendors when they would likely surpass the rewards faster than they could earn them.
Your game may be dying from lack of Your interest but mine is healthy and wealthy and fun (couldn’t think of another word that rhymes except stealthy) and very much alive.
Just as a note of facts… The game IS declining. You might not want to see it or dont care because you’re having fun which great, congratz… But in case you missed it, the majority is now not happy with the game.
What if the real reason why the game isn’t doing well is because over the years it has tried to cater to more and more people and in doing so cheapens the experience for anyone specific group in order to appeal to all of them.
What if the concept of a singular mmo of this age is a old one and other titles like Runescape have showed us that the way forward is not to be united but to separate the different player bases into titles that better appeal to their specific play styles?
I look forward to seeing you in vanilla. You know, back when the item that you’ve needed for six months dropped… but your DKP was too low to roll on it?
same thing happened to me I am pretty much as geared as I care to be on this guy. I log on my terrible 330ish warrior and my highest piece is 370 7th legion warfront quest legs. literally have sub 300 pieces on that guy. I do darkshore warfront for that 385 and I get legs again. There is no reason the game cant see your lowest ilvl piece and try to target gear for that slot. I could have gotten a 80-100 ilvl upgrade and instead I got a 15. Total crap.
