THIS is why the honor nerf does not make ANY sense:

So far the arguments from people defending Blizzard’s decision are the following:

“Hey I got video from 2007, that’s how the honor used to be, we want vanilla experience! No changes!”

Argument from Blizzard: “Guys, we are changing honor gain back to how it used to be in original pre-patch to preserve authentic experience!”

Why all of the above is an utter BS?

  1. There was no <2 week pre-patch in “authentic experience vanilla”
  2. There were no boosts or store mounts or 80$ Deluxe Edition (CE was half the price if I recall correctly)
  3. If you are so quick to “fix honor” then why are people still locked out from raids because of the bug that makes you share raid cooldowns with your battleground lead?
  4. The game already has several changes to neglect #nochanges argument obsolete, so why are you punishing people who are coming back to play TBC and want to catch up with gear that’s not even best in slot?
  5. I think it’s about time you stop pushing the limits of the majority of playerbase if you still want to have any other players besides the few teacher’s pets.
  6. A lot of people (at least on my server) already hit honor cap before the fix, so they will be able to get full 5 piece level 70 blue honor set (86k honor) to jump into arenas, at level 70, creating even further imbalance. As it’s also Resilence gear that you can’t just get from PvE. Not that I personally care, but I can see how this would be an obvious issue…

Blizzard employees have no brains. I’d say they are probably diversity hires, but more likely they just got people off the street and pay them less than minimum wage.

This exact post got deleted on EU forums, I wonder what soft spot did it hit?

Great and all valid points. This is truly upsetting.
