I read it. You had two bad experiences one month apart. I have a bad experience once or twice a month and I run content with randoms every day. Not endgame stuff though, thats just asking to get trolled, imo.

I agree some of the community sucks thats a given, not all of it but. I also place blame on the game itself for being harder then it should be for non heroic non mythic type stuff you shouldnt die easy. some of us dont have the time to study each boss in the game to know what it does or can do or its mechanics. god forbid i have a life outside of wow that keeps me busy.

Ok well it sounds like you have bad luck or you are doing something to provoke people. Sorry if I misunderstood. The community can be aweful, not defending it, but it really isnt that bad for most people outside of endgame content, imo. The worst players will usually do is leave you behind or kick you for being rude or slow.
The ones I feel sorry for is casters and healers who have to stand still for these cheap mechanix. lol.
I was running Desto lock…but unlike some I think, dont care if my DPS suffers, Im moving even if it means I cant cast for 5 seconds. lol.
I think the players who died might kept standing still when that last boss is coating the floor in blizzards cheezy circle of death…that was when the deaths happened. I just stopped casting and moved till it was over and Healthstoned/drain life till Im back to 100%, but apparently it didnt work out well for the other DPS. Even the healer was down to about 20% health.
Im assuming new players, maybe.
Just no cause to start behaving petty like that over a player dying. But here again the behavior is being defended by some in here which just proves my entire point about the ‘community’ in this game.
Defending that behavior while CLAIMING it doesnt happen, lmao.

And then, I had the friendliest run in the world the other day in Maraudon. It was too friendly, people talking the whole dungeon, someone doing something wrong and being politely informed of it then politely apologizing and fixing it. And a chat after the dungeon was over.
If it is WORLD of Warcraft that means you’re going to come across people in the world you don’t like

yeah, thats why I say about 50% lol.
many other times players are cordial and very well behaved.
I just stopped running dungeons in BFA and now SLs because its just too annoying to see it when it does happen…I dont really NEED to run dungeons anyway, so theres no point in risking it in the first place.
I like to think people ARENT like that and it kinda ruins my perception of ADULTS knowing that its likely not children doing it.
I mean…ive seen them with my own eyes put “GKY” in the chat over a video game for christ sake. Likely GROWN MEN doing it.

Saying it never happens AINT discussing it. Literally the opposite of discussing it.
I think generally speaking the nice people are quiet and the jerks have to run their mouths, at least that’s how I feel. Groups either have no one talking or someone just waiting to drop some negativity on someone. And I think the nice people just don’t talk because of the fear of the negative people. I like to think (hope) that most of the community is actually cool people

I think they kinda blow their cover about how theyre going to behave very quickly by railing on about something before we even get started.
He did start so I should have assumed.
I only ran the dungeon for the quest to get a chest I wanted.
Likely wont make that mistake again, lol.

I’m going to take this opportunity to point out that the person railing against the behavior of “GROWN MEN” is also a grown man throwing a temper tantrum on a public forum because someone was rude in a video game dungeon.

To the OP: You are 100% correct, there is no excuse ever for throwing out the “kill yourself” comments. ever. That is 100% unacceptable and frankly, anyone who says it should be insta-banned from the game.
But there’s also no excuse for labeling hundreds of thousands of people as trash because of a few bad experiences in a dungeon, or an entire server.
I have run thousands of dungeons over the years. hundreds of m+, many raids, etc… and the vast majority of my experiences with people are either neutral or good. Sure, you encounter a jerk every now and then, but if you’re going to let that color your entire perception of the game - why play?
and, if you find that every group is toxic, the problem isn’t everyone else.

I dont even understand that to be honest.
when Im running the game at level I dont want to one shot everything in the world. Its boring.
If Im only running lower content in the expansion, I dont need or want full on Mythic gear.
Just doesnt make sense for my gaming preference.
