This picture they used for the specialisation should have been the inspiration for the Hero Spec.

Yeah, but in fact this icon and the description are a misleading presentation, as the Hero specification is not the one it is advertised for.
What i see here is the promise of an ultimate form and yet we only get multiple halo.
This NOT what everyone is expecting from this.

I do believe that they had something else planned for archon altogether but they had to scrap it after the fiasco and backlash they got for showing off the oracle spec and reworking it all again… maybe we will get what we were supposed to next year…hopefully

Need to update the spell casting of Halo to be more in line with the Archon key visual. The link is missing. Hopefully it’s already in the work.
I can see wings (similar to the key art) as a cocoon materializing around the priest during the cast time of Halo, and releasing the wings wide open when the cast time end, in sync with the regular halo effect spreading out at the same time. Making it feel like you created the waves of Halo with your Archon wings of light and shadow.
Bonus point if the wings can reappear for every bounce of Halo after the initial cast.
Sell me that Archon fantasy.
