In WoW, only superior beings should persevere in the struggle for life. If you don‘t pay attention, understand what‘s going on, and make the right decisions under time pressure, you should die. Forgot to stock up on potions/consumables? Dead.
Don‘t look around 360 deg while fighting? Dead.
Didn‘t visualize a path of escape before engaging that mob, just in case? Dead.
Too lazy to level up your eng to get target dummy? Dead.
Not aware of mob abilities like net, poisons? Dead.
Don‘t understand a game mechanic? Dead.
Not accurate with movement, slip into lava or off of high drop? You‘re dead scrub.

Everyday for that guy is a Sunday and especially on these forums. These Classic forums have next to no mods ever. I have yet to see any of the trolls get stopped here. The same 3 to 4 people troll here nonstop and insult everyone and call them all names and all that and never help anyone. And then they always say that everything you say is made up just to try and get to you. If you get mad at anyone of these few trolls, Blizz makes sure to shut you up real quick. They can do it to us, but we cannot do the same to them. They are in a safe zone here and they know it. Thats why you never see them post anywhere outside of these forums. If we had our old mod teams back where the blues would actually post here and tell people to stop and then would ban them if they didn’t, then the trolls here would actually go away.

No. It’s just a challenge for some people. You would never be able to finish some quests, have any meaningful PVP, or defeat the Lich King if 1 death meant the end of the character.
I hear in hardcore wrath, if you die to undead you become a ghoul and are locked into a certain zone to wander aimlessly until a living player comes by. The whole time the lich king sings People Are Strange (the doors version) telepathically to your toon in his lichy voice. Over and over.
This is not true. While 99.99% of players would never be able to defeat the Lich King in HC, technically he only needs to be killed once to advance the lore.
C’Thun has already been killed in HC and now the intrepid raiders who killed him have set their sights on Kel’Thuzad.
It doesn’t matter if it’s HC or normal mode. At 10% health, the Lich King kills everyone. Menethil needs to to ressurect the raid to finish off Lich King. Can’t survive the fight if LK automatically kills everyone at 10%.
