We had a guy that failed this mechanic 3 times before we were able to break it down simply enough that he finally understood. Which was a challenge, because how do you make “move left, move right” any simpler?

The only thing I think that trips people up is that they don’t realize they need to go and stand on the spotlight square. If you don’t do that it doesn’t matter if you are following the instructions.

Half the group failed it and an elitist in LFR lost his mind in raid chat. 2nd try no one died.
Amazing how that works when you give people a chance to try it out.

The dance itself is super easy.
Recital otoh can go diaf as a mechanic. It’s fine and doable by itself if super-punishing to latency high players (read-My australian guildies).
But when it combines during other phase mechanics (including Stavro’s own 3rd phase heroic one) it’s pure death. The timers should absolutely not line up like that.
Council of Blood is easily my favourite fight this raid.

My Horde Priest is a Female Goblin (obv) and my Alliance is a Male Gnome.
The undisputed best dancers in the game of course.
So I enjoy watching them dance during a boss fight.
