eh, 20% plus warband buff isn’t negligible.
if I had to guess, you’re pretending to equate the letter in the mail with the xp buff from past events to…
13 time gated and content gated T2 armour sets as the pillar feature of this event, which is a milestone year of 20.
So not comparable.
And because you don’t recognize this, it was in fact you who sounded unhinged. lol
Two comments in a row now. 2 for 2 lol
you have to remember also bliz built this anniversary up like its was a big deal and its simply not
They’re choosing to miss the point so that their pen-pal at blizzard CS who works for minimum wage and accepts donations can see the screenshot they take of the forums being a white knight.
It’s called delusional willful ignorance.
Oh no.
They are rewarding you for doing literally the exact same things you’d be doing in the game anyways, tossing in extra reputation rewards and experience that’s easy to get (Which hits nearly 50% exp bonus if you count max warband bonuses) and they are letting people just have fun with a light hearted non-serious event that just is a massive throw back to the many different things that happened over the years?
And you are trying to say that… somehow… is worse than just getting a mail and a “Feat of strength” and maybe a pet, and somehow what we got this year is worse?
The Anniversary event is literally just there for fun, if you don’t enjoy having fun. Fine, you go back to grinding whatever sweaty experience you enjoy in WoW.
The event is fun, I have enjoyed the many Cameos’s over the event, and the rewards are not as awful as you make it out to be.
I have 43 Celebration tokens right now in the first week, and the only thing I did out of the ordinary was Korrak’s revenge. Once because I got 3 tokens for it.
I find it ridiculous that out of everything this event offers up you are trying to act like it’s somehow worse than past events.
You are frankly, either Delusional or an Intentional Troll. Based on your posts I’m leaning towards the latter.
You realize this events going to be going on for a while, it’s not just a one day or even one week thing right?
Also Being an adult and thinking with your head instead of just posting insults on the forums doesn’t make someone a white knight. You should try it sometime.
You basically get 35 tokens a week until you hit 100. So yes the first 100 is extremely time gated.
After that first 100 they drop continuously from all repeatable sources including World bosses. So you will be able to farm them as fast or as slow as you want once you hit that marker and unlock the achievement
No I’m not missing the point, I am explaining things to you.
You can, rather easily, earn enough coins. You need 485 coins total to get all the rewards (assuming you have none of them from previous anniversary events, in which case the amount you need is actually less. 320 coins are needed for all the T2 sets). You have 3 months to do that. You’ll have your first 100 by the end of week 3 or 4, then you can earn coins far more rapidly.
Blizzard will also, no doubt increase the amount of coins earned as the event gets closer to completion so that players who entered the event late, or weren’t able to get maximum coin amounts each week will still get all the rewards.
This isn’t like MoP remix where you needed hundreds of thousands of bronze coins to earn everything, the amount you actually need is really small (at least when compared to other events).
it’s 10%.
The additional 10 is a temporary buff.
Takes time to fill the bar and receive that.
The buff is not account-wide even though you people gush for “warbands are super alt-friendly!”.
Normal people don’t have 5 level 80s for 25% warband buff.
What a thick comment you made.
yea, you’re simply not important enough for any self-respecting person to read all that.
I’m going back to bed. I hope you have the kind of day you deserve.
You missed the point. We debunked you 20 comments ago.
And this is that person’s thread, not yours
You think you’re pretty special eh? lol
Yep, crawl back under your bridge.
I’m sorry, are people annoyed that Blizzard actually respected your time or something? The rewards changed from when the sets were 100 coins to, if I saw correctly, 60 coins for the first set. If I recall from other news, each subsequent set should get cheaper as you buy each one by roughly 10. So if you get twenty coins per week, it takes 3 weeks to get your first t2 set.
I honestly don’t see the issue here. Blizzard didn’t tie in power to the event so you are free to ignore it if you want. There’s no FOMO since they’re supposed to be keeping the system for the future. Maybe they add updates t3 or something, down the road, but it’s not like they made the coins hard to get.
You can complete most of the activities quickly, maybe a few hours? Unless you do the pvp one, old AV is crazy.
60 > 40 > 20.
First set costs 60 coins.
Second set costs 40 coins.
Every other set costs 20 coins.
Meaning for all the sets you need 320 coins. Easily earnable, especially after you get your first 100 coins and open up additional sources of coin farming.
Because honestly, there is no issue… this is just another baby-rage thread, where OP and a few other goons pretend a non-issue is an issue.
Did they want some kinda power tied on our something? It’s like they wanted borrowed power, when it’s finally not here for once, unless you count each season’s tier sets xD.
It’s all Tmog or power leveling. I guess people complaining about nothing is just weird for me.
So even faster than I thought. And the event is running until January or some such?
Not that killing 40 anniversary world bosses per T2 set is an acceptable prospect, but where are you getting that information?
The achieve says “repeatable 20th Anniversary activities”, of which there’s only one listed on WoWhead,
January 7th, yep.
Until Patch 11.0.7 launches.
There are lots of issues with the bronze acquisition.
We’ve already gone over it many times in many threads.
And this thread.
Ignoring the facts and making out in the same thread is a bit trolly. Try to calm down.
Well get you wallet and the solution is in your hands $$$$$
