first it was the gummi promotion and now its the mountain dew promotion and both only open to US citizens. So let me get this straight Blizz you are willing to take my money monthly to play this game, yet you will not give people outside of the US the same opportunity to collect in game items that US citizens have access to. You guys are a joke, you are discriminating your own player base, you should be ashamed of yourselves, This is pure unadulterated American arrogance there is no other explanation that does this any justice whatsoever

Yeah only way to get it is $40-$100 on Ebay and hope it isn’t a scam

So either Blizz approached a bunch of softdrink/snack brands and offered a mutual promotion deal or Pepsico approached Blizz for the same thing. There isn’t anything sinister about it. The better thing to do rather than throw around pointless insults would be to ask if there is a chance we could see a similar WoW tie in, in Australia. It’s probably unlikely given the number of subs in Australia/NZ but you never know. Also if you are getting this worked up over pixels maybe you should take a deep breath and have a long think about whether you actually want to play the game…
Ive been playing since 2007 and hence why I am getting very passionate about this, I love this game and I have every right to get worked up about this, I just want the to be able to collect things that I hold dear. Yes I am a pet collector i have over 1601 unique pets and i know I cant collect these pets becuase i dont live in the land of the free…gimme a break. Im just saying for what it is and that is player base discrimintion because of my geo location.
