Hi All,
Last night I spotted something weird when leveling a lowbie. I saw 7 people (all level 60s) in Bastion moved together and did herbing and mining. When they did herbing and mining, they performed the actions exactly at the same time and when it was done, they all mounted up, followed the leader and headed to the next herb or mine location.
I tailed them for 30 minutes and they never stopped.
My recollection is when we group up, we usually do dungeons or raids. But have you seen people grouped up to do herbing and mining?

These sound like multiboxers who are using software that violates the TOS, replicating one keystroke across multiple game instances. Sometimes they are bots, which is also not allowed. Multiboxing is generally fine as long as one keystroke = one action, but some software can get around this.
Given the changes to multiboxing regulations in the past several months, I see a lot fewer of these illegal farmers since Shadowlands launched. Either way, you can right click report at least one of the farmers and explain what you’ve seen. Blizzard will investigate and ban the accounts if they are found to be violating the rules.

Some people do group up. Back in BFA we used to do group farming for anchor weed and youd find one, ping the group and all go tap it, because nodes disappear after the first tap soon after.
This sounds like a multiboxer tho. Multiboxing is still permitted but them using any kind of software for broadcasting or hardware to have them act in unison is a no no now. You mostly see dual boxers these days, but the couple big groupers are still around.
