This is probably the best thing to happen with the 10.2 Outlaw rework

“Audacity now causes Ambush to replace Sinister Strike when the effect is triggered.”

Now just get rid of Slice and Dice, and this spec may be fun again.

What exactly is this change in detail? Is it the button on your bar that changes?

when audacity procs, your regular sinister strike key will turn into ambush.

Likewise with the assassination talent blindside where mutilate will change to ambush after a proc

I honestly wish they would stop messing with rogue talents, I’m already used to this bloated garbage and they are going to rework it again?

Outlaw has been absolute trash (in my opinion at least) in PvP all expansion long, so I think the Talent tree rework is needed. I have no idea if Outlaw is actually functional in PvE yet (most non-group overworld content feels fine at least), since I haven’t done much in the way of Dungeons or Raids this expansion, but Outlaw was pretty trash in PvE back in 10.0 when I was doing the Fated Raids content for that slime cat mount.

The Talent tree rework should’ve happened closer to the start of this expansion if you ask me.

Its a good news indeed. And the only reason Ive refused to play HO…So far ive played Echoin+KiR and was still competitive (among Outlaws, obviously…in 20~21’s)

In my opinion all whats left to do is to give us something to be competitive in the Meta.
Uncap BF and reduce dmgs above 8 targets? (Is’nt it what all other meta classes alrdy have anyways??!)
…Or cap all specs?
I mean…why make some cap and some other not…eludes me.

Im only an 1800 player but Outlaw / healer and outlaw Aug constantly beats me. If it comes down to 1v1 I lose also. Just seems to be a hard counter. It seems to do very high sustained damage in capable hands with lots of random spike damage with 20k crits and it still has that thing where evasion comes off cooldown quicker for using finishers?

Not sure if anyone else has tested this and found the same bug I’ve stumbled across but there’s an issue with this new change and macros.

Make any basic macro with a Mutilate/Sinister Strike cast sequence and when the talent procs and forces the ability to transform, after using the procs the macro is bricked and will not continue.
