If I wanted to play bejeweled. I would download it on my phone and play bejeweled. If I wanted to bunny hop (Jelly Jumping) around I would go play a game that has surfing maps. Neither of these are fun, engaging, entertaining, or any other adjective you can come up with that describes a good time.
I am not really sure if you thought these would be fun or if you are just trolling us but I am really starting to think it is the latter.
I’m enjoying these but they are either bugged as all hell or completey inconsistent and impossible to finish in a reasonable amount of time. It doesn’t even seem like Blizzard tested these. What in the world is the point of the PTR if stuff like this gets to live in the current state it’s in?
Blizzard is a billion dollar company and they put out EA level buggy crap. This is beyond pathetic.
I don’t understand the complaints on the jumping Jellies quest, I didn’t find it that hard. Was probably done in like 5 tries. As a DK with no gliders or anything. I didn’t find it that hard.
But the MATCH FIVE YELLOW RUNES IN A ROW can rot.
I won’t bother with that RNG waste of time until after they change it to x number of matches.
We’re adjusting the “Runelocked Chest” World Quests with a hotfix that changes the requirement from matching colors in a row to completing a specified total number of matches.
I’m not sure how long this is going to take to change, but we’ll have it noted for you in our hotfixes list.
The trick is to line up the center of the circle with the first jelly. Keep your character looking at the first jelly until the last second before you hit the jelly. Then turn your camera to face the next jelly. The trick is to turn the camera at the right timing. Start turning the camera too soon and you’ll veer off course and miss the jelly left or right by just a foot. That’s enough to throw you off. At first I thought it was inconsistent. Then I learned it’s more of a finesse thing. The jumping isn’t fire and forget. You have to finish guiding your character to the jelly and then point yourself in the direction of the next one. Rinse and repeat.
I absolutely hate that these guys seem to disappear randomly. They should be like followers in Legion, if I am in Nazjatar whichever one I last had active should ALWAYS appear by my side. I have lost so much potential follower XP already because these guys just are just gone when I go to turn in a quest.
