Transmog never gets old, I don’t know what game you’re playing but Fashion is the true endgame.

Just kidding. Ashame to see another fan leaving due to the incompetence of Actiblizzard. I truly hope the core members found a new company soon.
I think what players look for is not gear, but validation of their own worth. And in a game with multiple difficulty levels, the ego reward for anything below Mythic is minimal.
What the devs needed to do is design a game that makes everyone feel like a hero, like they are worth more than they are in real life. And the game design fails to do that for most players. I’m not sure if it was ever possible to do this; if not, the game was destined for inevitable collapse.
Who did the “goodbye everyone 
” threads better? Lunnaya or this guy?
