World Quests can fail until you fly out past its zone and then back again, in which case it completes.
So I took the bait and I took you off the ignore. Why did you make me do this?
In legion remix it only happens if you are in HC world tier. Yes it is annoying

Just put them on Ignore, they aren’t worth the precious moments of your life typing responses to them.
As for the post, I don’t recall it happening to me but if its a WQ I haven’t done and its available, I’ll check it out. 
It happens randomly. One toon will complete it no prob, but another has to fly away and back again.
Anyone reported it as a bug?
I have, when I first encountered it last season. It happened mainly with the Undermine WB.

Whew, I thought it was just me, OP. It happens to me all the time, the big WQ in Undermine, the big WQ in Karesh, the big WQ in Lemix, the big WQ in Dornogal, the one in Ringing Depths, Azj-Kahet and Hallowfall. I thought it was just my luck or lack thereof… shrug?

It does seem to only happen with the Boss WQs, a single kill. I have yet to see it happen with a normal WQ like “ride the ram” or “kick the serpents and water the sheep”.
