This isn’t really a ‘change’. I mean, weekly activities awarded Veteran gear back in DF as well. This is just bringing TWW weekly activities up to that level after the season starts.
However, it should be noted that the Valdrakken ‘pinnacle’ weekly awarded Champion gear, which seems not to be getting carried forward into TWW. There’s no sign of a Champion-level weekly yet.
LFR is easy you can afk, but some skill levels will ever be able to go that high. I guess the follower dungeons were a good things at least you now have friends with bots to play with.
