Unlike any previous expansion release in the past we’ve had, it seems like players are not excited for shadowlands at all. There are a few vocal players who will not stop talking about how great and wonderful is going to be. But aside from that, there’s very little hype about shadowlands as far as I can tell
The biggest reason is because we are exhausted from BFA, and the frustration of BFA… And now we have to be frustrated that the pre-patch hasn’t even been announced yet. We’ll be lucky if we even get two weeks of pre-patch, if that. but we haven’t heard anything from them period just radio silence as usual, no community team to actually talk to people
Worst part about what we’re hearing is that covenant system. It seems incredibly confusing and frustrating
incorrect, many of us are so excited we can barely sleep, and I am serious, and I know many others who are, too on my server at least. It is sooo awesome
BfA. playing on launch day it was very disappointing.
many people are hyped for SL but its still a month away and we still dealing with same ole content from BfA for past few months. people are sick and tired of it. like eating the same dish 3 times a day for months on end.
I feel as though people are exhausted, and generally in poor moods, due to a great deal of issues that don’t really have anything to do with WoW at all. Not meaning to excuse any of Shadowlands issues, but there’s likely more to the lack of enthusiasm for a video game than just the game itself in Oct 2020.
