First time posting here. So that says a lot about how I feel following the latest patch. And how fed up I am. Not that it really matters since I will still be playing BC classic and have been enjoying that.
I main a healer. I loved mythic dungeons when they first came out in legion. They were so much fun. But that changed in bfa, and now they made them even worse in shadowlands. I don’t know why this is? I heard it has to do with streamer culture and blizz catering to that crowd? Well a lot of us aren’t into that, have no interest whatsoever and streaming, and no amount of marketing is going to change that, and if you change the game to what the streamers want, you’re going to lose people like me. Not only has it ruined the gameplay it breeds toxicity.
Tazavesh is terrible, which is unfortunate. I had been expecting better. I am overgeared for the dungeon but I am still pulling 7k hps on normal mode bosses this is insane. I don’t even need the loot there, but I cannot find a group that can make it through without wiping so much. And these are geared groups! Who or what was this dungeon supposed to be for?
Same goes for SoD. I wasn’t that impressed with Nathria either, but this is bad. I cannot find a group that can down sylvanas. Every single time, at least one person falls off the holes in the bridges, some are claiming the bridges are bugged too ! What a poor design!
Things to change so even players that aren’t that great can do these raids, because there’s not enough “leet” players to do them with, and often they are not as great as they think and they are toxic. I felt that blizzard had started to turn things around with legion but nope they got even worse than before. I logged out the end of season 1 of bfa and came back for shadowlands and let me say this expansion has been disappointing.
Is it so incomprehensible that after 16 years of a game, people might get tired of it for awhile? Explore other avenues of entertainment, check in when you want. It’s not a relationship you need to explain your feelings about.
It sounds like you’re asking for the game to be nerfed so that more people can enjoy the end game content, and not get stuck on boss encounters that you believe should be easier.
??
I never once said it was untrue. I was just verifying that OP believes the content is too difficult for most players, and needs to have its difficulty reduced.
Whether or not it’s too hard or too easy is up to the individual.
Sounds like the break wasn’t long enough or the game isn’t for you anymore. No need to over think it. Find a replacement game or see if a longer break is needed.
What’s different about m+ from Legion to now? Like what do streamers or the e-sport push from bliz have to do with how you want to play the game?
I’m a pretty casual player and had a lot of fun running keys over the week, even made it up to a 10 on the first week with a character that started 9.1 at a 170 item level… so it feels pretty reasonably tuned.
Yes, Tazavesh and SoD need to be nerfed. Many CN bosses were nerfed after release if you don’t remember. But of course it will be weeks before/if they do nerf them , like last time. It’s unacceptable.
But why is that an issue? This was the first week of a new season. I didn’t expect to higher than a 4 or 5 until getting more gear, and that would be fine. Just run the dungeons at whatever level you can, have fun with them, and gear will lead to higher keys. It’s fine.
I really don’t have a “Horse In This Race”, being that both of us are 71 and are way behind as it is in our ability to understand what we’re supposed to do anymore, but that’s our excuse.
I have read - without comment - posts such as the one above (The OP), and because I’m an optimist, I’m thinking Blizz is out there somewhere listening.
I don’t always comment, but I do read, and one post I caught was that more of us are going back to older quests and gathering reps we may have lost through the expansions by Blizz offering us all another level up if we buy.
Don’t know about you my friends, but I count myself among those folks, right now finishing up stuff in Pandaren, Legion and WoD. Yeah, I know: It’s “peanuts” compared to the gear and gold one can receive at the higher level quests, but it works for me.
Now a word about my sponsors (J/K ). I don’t have any sponsors, but I have friends who are always happy to lend me a hand in getting a level or a campaign done. They are too numerous to mention, so I won’t, but they know who they are and know that me and Ol’ Jonãs love’ em for it.
That’s it from us two old geezers. We just hope Blizz listens to our players who are unsatisfied and find some ways to uncomplicate whatever needs uncomplicating for them.
Don’t give up on the game, the game is Beautiful & Massive with unlimited things to do, its just the mechanics & decisions that are being made that are bad and don’t feel right, Sooner or later the people causing the franchise to lose money will be exposed and removed, until then we just have to be patient. Just my thoughts on the matter.
It’s week 1. It’s ok for things to be hard. Everyone is undergeared for the patch content. The dungeon and raid get easier as people get more ilevel and understand boss mechanics better.
Plus there is an lfr coming out if it’s still too hard. Just calm down, take a breather.
