I’ve played off and on since just before BC came out, at first on my nephew’s account and later on my own.
I’ve never spent much time raiding or doing arenas, lots and of BGs, instances, and questing.
I miss some of the finding instance groups and all that, but I have to say questing in bfa right now is as fun as it’s ever been. I’ve really enjoyed myself in this expansion thus far.
I can’t address how the “serious” raiding guilds and arena folks are feeling, but they have always been gripey.
As a dreaded casual, who has spent many long hours over the years playing WOW, I’m pretty satisfied!

How do you have 580 achievement points since bc? Better question is how I have 80?

I am aswell i think theirs alot that could be better and last patch was very sad to say the least. but overall i’m having fun.

lots of people toss on a bandwagon for what they think they should think IMO

It’s great you are having fun, but different people enjoy different things. Just because you have enjoyed stuff doesn’t mean others are also having a great time.

Lots of my stuff never came over on my bc main when the achievement thing was started, and I played a lot of cata and wotlik on another account, I also missed a lot of draenor and legion

I agree OP. Legion still my fav, this one culd be #2. Will have to wait n see the rest of it but so far im playing a lot and enjoying it.

They’ve got a lot of things to fix. It’s also argue that classes have never been this hollow.

you may say that now, but its still early for ya. i got 5 120’s, not a raider or arena guy(alteast not serious since Wrath), i like alts and professions and dailies/WQ’s… and im logging in less and less and the desire to level more alts and work on professions is all but gone… hopefully something changes by March, but im not optimistic.

I have 24k achievement points, but the forums will only display 5k because it is per character now, instead of account wide like it used to be. Even if I post on my main it says I will only have 17k.

Not this time. Nothing changed and players finally waking up though did woke up during WoD. A lot of employees getting laid off or quitting so expect a shift.

Displayed achievement points are not character specific instead of accoutn wide.

I glad that you’re happy with the game. But when the current expansion isn’t broad enough or the game play doesn’t have enough depth to it then it’s bad for everyone concerned!

It’s bad for the players that don’t have their expectations met to keep them around as paying customers, it’s bad for the game developer wanting to keep their jobs but loses it because of not enough paying customers, it’s bad for the company and their stockholders.

So while you’re having fun, a lot of BfA players aren’t, and Blizzard as a company isn’t doing so well. Maybe if Blizzard produced a broader more in dept game experience then they wouldn’t be were they are right now with WoW.

I mean this game is aging, gaming on this platform is nearing its end , blizz has maintained dominance in this genre for years. Damn what do people expect. They’ve done an amazing job keeping people interested.
It’s a big job entertaining some peeps who expect to sit on the puter 10 hours a day and expect to be engaged for 15 bucks a month.
