A lot of guilds stop raiding nowadays, just around 4/10M. People are losing interest in organizing raids, pushing bosses or even playing the game. No one cares about the new content they add into 9.1.5. Those minor changes are definitely boring and the core content is still rubbish.
It probably is the time that world of warcraft should prepare to stop operating.
The gaming environment and living style is SO different from 20 years ago. This game should evolve! You should give people reasons to log in and play your content again and again rather than creating barriers (daily quests? towers?) . Allow people to do mythic raid with flex sizes, allow cross-server mythic raids, unlock mythic raid dungeon cd!
If this game will not fully evolve to be competitive today, it will surely die very soon! Theory of evolution!
They don’t seem to have any fresh, new ideas. They have new ideas, but either they’re stale retreads or they’re things they know we won’t want.
Good thing everybody’s so addicted they’d never leave. /s
That is why I’m here I think lol. Pure addiction!
But that is why I’m still here now. Like I’ve been hanging on through expansions I have disliked because of it and played through the old stuff so much that I’m not too interested to chill around there any longer.
I don’t think I’m going to stick around if it’s another shadowlands.
I didn’t enjoy legion or bfa very much outside of a couple things.
I think it would be a good thing if Disney bought Blizzard - or at least Warcraft.
Nerds everywhere lamented that Disney bought Marvel, but after a decade, it really was a boon to fans and corporate profits.
Disney bought Star Wars. People can argue about its quality, but at least it is alive. It was just dying on the vine. Now, it still earns tons of cash, and produces some well received content, like the Mandalorian and the Clone Wars cartoons.
If Amazon bought Blizzard, that would probably be bad. Disney just has more experience in the entertainment field. Though Amazon does own the upcoming LotR show. Maybe they are investing in geeky stuff, and Warcraft could be a part of that portfolio.
4/10 mythic means they just cant do it been happening since forever what the hell does that even have to do with games dying. this post won the dumbest post of day award.
Hopefully someone that can do the game right and some justice for the treatment it was getting over the years. Probably former Blizzard workers I guess.
What’s the difference between now and any time in the past when guilds got stonewalled in a raid by a boss?
nod to Gorefiend
Of course this is true, the premise though is that it’s on a large scale because duh people lose interest, happens everywhere in life so that’s of course not what you’re talking about so I’m curious how have you determined this (large number of players)?
I do
Minor to you, I can’t wait for 9.1.5 to get here lol
Oh gosh, I didn’t even think of this “Hoover” kind of situation, (where one thing that sucks sucks up another thing just because it’s built to.) But I guess I did mention/reference/allude to it with mentioning MS and their 3 upcoming RPG’s. But with them, 1 is old, 1 is new, and 1 has been a long time partner of theirs at some level.
Amazon just quick-sucking everything it can turn into a profit is more than a plausible idea, it’s their MO.
“Hi, I’m Jared, from Amazon Industries. Would you and 47 of your friends be interested in developing this game for us?? Totally not sending this out to 10.5 other qualified persons. K, thanks, bye!”
