this game drives more ppl away than it brings in b.c pugs are bad in dungeons then kick ppl b.c of numbers. give players a chance or this game is gonna die and it will be your fault

I don’t see people kicked for low dps.
Like, there’s scaling. Low level arcane mages might do 5x the dps of somebody else.
As long as nobody is making the run rough by pulling extra, running ahead of the group, going afk, etc, people are usually pretty chill.

Lowbies get kicked at times for messing up, not knowing the way, not understanding their class, etc. I see it in lower dungeons from time to time. They get berated every once in a while, too. It’s not pleasant.
And then if they ask questions in trade or city general, they’re sometimes ignored or made fun of for asking “dumb questions.”
I try to help newbies or returning players because of this. But it isn’t always a fun experience with how some treat them.

What is there to mess up in lowbie dungeons aside from pulling extra stuff? Unless somebody is very obviously alt-tabbing each pull nobody ever seems to mind if somebody is doing poor damage.

Not keeping up, pulling extra stuff, not doing damage or healing or tanking right, etc. Some people just get weirdly triggered in lowbie dungeons. It’s very odd.

Not too long ago I had a dungeon where the healer disconnected as we loaded in and nobody wanted to kick him until we were reaching the last boss.
Low level dungeons just explode.

That’s nice. But it’s not every experience. Different runs go differently with different people. Some are chill. Some are understanding. Some are triggered. Some are toxic. The list goes on.

I’ve come back to this game with my friends about a month and a bit ago.
During our levelling journey yes there was an abnormal amount of dumb people.
There is a particular dungeon you need to get a nature resistance buff on and someone wanted to kick my friend because he ‘wasn’t healing well enough’ till he got corrected by another party member advising that the accuser wasn’t doing mechanics and didn’t have the right buff.
My friend who is brand new to MMOs has been kicked as a low lvl person in a leveling dungeon after they said they were new and learning on a boomkin.
I’m lucky in that overall the amount of toxicity me personally have experienced is low but I’ve seen people experience this first hand.

366 ilvl, in a non progression guild, complaining about how lowbies are kicked from dungeons.
My brother in christ if you are underperforming in a m0, then the pugs arent the issue, you are. Make your own groups so you control who gets kicked or not.
