I completed the dailies… and back in Hallowfall seeing
“the final battle has begun”
Only Arathi NPC’s are there, standing around.
Is the “final battle” a staring contest?

It’s bugged on most shards. Basically the final boss doesn’t spawn so the event gets stuck in limbo. Other times the progress bar just decides to stop working, preventing the boss from spawning too.
All we can reliably do is the dailies.
The boss can also spawn, but if the progress bar has disappeared then you don’t get quest credit for killing it, only the drops.
