Blizzard should move the SW to outside to Elywnn Forest. There’s no reason it should be put in a place where Horde are forced to be flagged, while alliance can do the Horde side in Durotar unflagged. Big fail there.

Why would you go there on a Horde char? Just use an Alliance alt… obviously.

Just create an alt then. It won’t take more than 10 minutes to walk down to the harbor, park the character there, hit the boss once, and run away.

“Eww Alliance” was just a joke, of course I have alliance characters, but the point is still there that Alliance have it easy, can do all 3 spots easy, while Horde are forced into PvP combat.

On the contrary, the opposite seems to be true. Due to the portal’s proximity to the city, there are incredible lags, which probably wouldn’t occur in the forest. I saw the boss three times there yesterday, and each time, it was incredibly laggy. The first time, I couldn’t even reach the boss because it kept freezing up.

Two things Blizzard doesn’t play their own games, so no surprise here. Look at the Diablo 4 inside look and watch the devs playing diablo 4 and struggling with basic controls. Look back at the tweet post a few years ago where they were bragging about how all their alts were ready for the love rocket, and after the devs didn’t get a single drop and the event ended they talked about raising the drop chance for all the holiday mounts or doing something else to get players who try to get those mounts. Of course I don’t think they ever did anything but theres a bit of proof out there they are out of touch of their own games.
Also Blizzard has always had server issues, and its not uniquely blizzard. Server tech for such a massive playerbase is to expensive for most companies to handle.

I mean it is nice to actually not know everything that’s coming weeks ahead of time,the events already boring before it even release when we know what’s going to happen.

For example, how the Gilneas questline unfolds and what the outcome looks like wasn’t known beforehand, yet the disappointment was still, for very good reason, very significant.
I agree the Gilneas event was terrible and over in a minute. The only decent thing was the scene with Greymane and his daughter.
And that time Boom died instantly before a lot of people could even tag him. This is a fun and well-tested event.
Your not missing anything. SW is laggy, if you die you LOSE loot, portals dont spawn, you have to apply non stop to LFG for groups whos portal did spawn, and theres NO guarantee of rewards. No vendors either, pure RNG. The bosses also spam huge aoes so its very easy to die in the midst of lag. Basically untested garbage.

I can only advise everyone to do the event with a Warlock. This way, you can revive yourself in case you get killed by the many lags through aoe.
Oh no it’s working exactly as they intended, don’t you know they hate the Horde so we horde gotta wait for ages to kill mobs where as alliance get all you can kill sprees and the lag that comes with them. I mean they’re quite content to give Alliance all the good things so why would this be any different? I mean they made most the primalist mobs horde units, they forcibly focused down on NE stuff for what three expansions straight, various armors they added in the trading post are alliance colors with zero horde color variants of them available. How about we just burn Stormwind down and force alliance players to either go to Valdrakken or come to the Horde zone to kill mobs?

How mean!!! They gave the Horde a cute new mainstream race in the form of Vulpera, but for the Alliance, they only provided an ugly adaptation for Gnomes? Better looking trolls for the Horde and overweight humans for the Alliance?, Night Elves with a customized model, their own zone, rich lore, and on top of that, a huge city, while the Alliance received a cheap copy & paste version of Blood Elves without a zone, lore, or city? They give the Horde the female model of humans and for the Alliance… no new model. They give the Horde Dwarves and for the Alliance… again, no counterpart. They give the Horde Gryphons and the Alliance no Wyverns. They make two Alliance cities accessible to the Horde, while all Horde cities remain inaccessible to the Alliance. Etc.

Also Alliance got bees.
But either way, people complaining about faction favoritism are silly, I don’t care about all the elf-stuff so I simply ignore it.

Just delete the factions already. This constant whining reminds me of a big kindergarten.
Factions should no longer restrict players in any way when it comes to races, mounts, etc. They can still exist, sure, but it should be freely selectable and not as limited as Blizzard handles it. Then no one can complain anymore.
