This community is a lot better than people say it is. I’m almost level 65 and I’ve seen tons of people from both factions out questing side by side with war mode on but not attacking each other.
Just everyone letting each other enjoy the new content.
The toxicity usually is encountered in end-game mythics and raids. People have a “gimme what I want or you’re wasting my precious time” attitude.
I started playing in 2005, and the way I’ve always seen it is that most wow players are pretty cool. The jerks encompass a small minority but they are very good at ruining the gaming experience for multiple players at once.
Also the forums are usually pretty nasty. Too often people want to polarize topics rather than listen and seek a solution. Players leaving constructive complaints or suggestions typically get viciously insulted by players who don’t have the same needs.

I can’t speak for anyone else but I’m pure evil. I’ve been underhandedly trying to destroy WoW for years. Soon my goal will be complete and then I can move on to the next game, FFXIV.

Really try getting in to groups to do content if you haven’t already done the content and out gear it. Then tell me the community is so great.
They aren’t fighting because they don’t have a level advantage yet. They don’t want to start beef with people who can fight back

Literally a microcosm of real life. 95% plus are just people wanting to chill, get through life as good as possible. Then you have 1-5% making all the super loud noise, and they get all the coverage making people believe everyone is like that.

In game community isn’t as bad as the forums would have you believe, and yeah people are generally kinder at the beginning of xpacs in my experiences.

I’ve yet to see a single Alliance anywhere near the handful I’ve gotten to.
I won a 2v6 for mine, felt amazing lol
