You get upset when the best looking mount is on the shop
You get upset when Blizzard decides to archive it but you fail to read the details at the bottom:
Items in the See You Later Bundle will enter hibernation on January 6, 2019 and will no longer be available in the Blizzard® Shop or in-game shop (until further notice). These items may return at some point in the future.
These items may return at some point in the future.
But you sure don’t mind about that $10 pet when it supports a cause to a natural disaster or something.
The bundle does not make you raid better
The bundle does not make you PvP better
The bundle doesn’t give you better gear
The bundle isn’t required to continue to play WoW
It’s all cosmetic…
You either decide to buy it or you don’t
“But it’s $150 to make up for the sales lul”
No… It’s $150 for the people who talked bad about every new good mount/pet on the shop and “refuse” to buy it because unknown reasons
It’s ALOT cheaper for anyone who decided to buy these said items years before this announcement
In reality, you’re complaining about a high price bundle due to your choices of not buying these said items when they were separate purchases.
This bundle should merely just be these Blizzstore items at a discount price.
There should be no temporary retirement aspect whatsoever when these items are digital, take no up no space, and have been available to buy for years.
The “hibernation” is just a sleazy tactic to create a sense of urgency and scarcity in order to goad people into buying. It’s disrespectful and detrimental to Blizzard’s relationship with it’s consumers.
Correct. Because in-game the vast majority of models we get are reskins of pre-existing ones.
Meanwhile they add new and unique mounts to the shop.
The issues comes in them making items that’ve been available for years, suddenly time limited items for … reasons. And it’s pretty clear what those reasons are.
Actually there’s always been a subset of players who have hated the Blizzard store all along especially once it sold more than just the games and expansions, especially virtual items such as services, pets, mounts and especially the transmog helms.
I don’t want to buy them, but I want to always have the option to buy them. Even though I’m never going to buy them. They’re like my backup girlfriend, the girl I need to stay in reserve while I date women I like more, but if she ever gets a boyfriend I’m going to be mad.
it just seems like an odd move imo, and to coexist when the familiar they just dropped as a mount? it just seems so odd and desperate to havve these 2 things.
I dont like saying it as I really do like blizzard but it seems odd.
You realize it’s just a stunt to get people to buy it right? Like oh better get it before it’s gone. That way everyone buys it thinking that it will be unobtainable afterwards. Then there’s the fine print which people ignore that basically says it’ll come back. It’s literally a marketing stunt for sales. That’s why people are annoyed.
