This can't be real: You can't have a void touched main hand and shield?

Attempted to run visions with my alt. Got a nice shield and proceeded to run for more currency. Got hit with the “you can’t hold two void touched items at a time.” Is this really a design feature? I’m a tank. I need 2 items in my hands, but I’m only allowed 1? Why would I even bother playing this?

To get the head enchant.

Other than that most of the rewards are pretty lackluster…

And even the 1st level of the enchant is bad. But I guess its better than nothing

So I respect this. I completely agree with you. I have to admit, I’ve never played an alt. Ever. I hate alts, but the upcoming patch has 2 tabards (which I collect) that are faction specific. I tried to gear up my alt and ran into this clown show. I guess since my main has the enchant, I’m done. Thanks blizz for the major content patch.

It isnt a major content patch. Its a minor one, by definition.

It provides an enchant for content. What am I missing?

Not sure what you mean.

An X.X.5 patch is never considered a major content patch.

Basically similar to Embellished items.

I’m pretty sure old corruptions worked in the same way- you were limited by how many items you could have equipped.

Right but those items had significant abilities/buffs assigned to them, not just plain ilevel upgrades

Its not the old system though. This is also not the focal point of the patch like it was in bfa.

I admit, I’m not fully caught-up on this version.

Yeah, you can’t bring the stuff outside either too, right? Like the void stuff is only limited to the scenario?

So it’s quite different, in that the ‘borrowed power’ doesn’t leave Visions, am I getting that part right?

Either way, seems to be confusion because lots of folks seem to think it’s the old system (or parts of it), myself included.

TLDR - Idk if folks really know what comes with the Visions, since BfA had a ton of baggage with it as well.

(Corrupted gear then, vs. Void-Touched now. They are obviously different.)

The entire scenario is about the dangers of going full void. Clearly he wasn’t paying attention.
