This aint WOTLK without RDF

neither of those examples are QoL. quality of life is a literal quality of … life. an example of QoL would be not having to click every corpse to loot because of carpal tunnel.

Some people are literally saying that wrath is ruined and wont be wrath because it doesnt have RDF… i’m just stating that IMO, you cant’t reduce the entire expansion on a queuing interface…

Removing the anti-RDF playerbase will also alleviate one of the major issues with Classic.

People aren’t. You’re just in a thread where the sole topic is that. And you’re hyper focused against it. If this were a thread about Wrath and all of it’s features, you might have a leg to stand on.

But right now, this is a thread based on a single topic, so saying that people are reducing it all down to a queueing interface is disingenuous at best. They are harping on the subject because it IS the subject.

ICC, the new 5 mans, toc, TOGC, etc were also in before the patch it’s launching with. Your point is what? Jc vendors were also in IF and SW before this patch but they are only in exodar now. What’s your argument? It’s content that didn’t exist before these other things were in game. Add them all at once or none. Can’t pick and choose comrade

I mean… look at the title of the thread… it says it all.

Not having to drink water between pulls is qol. What’s qol about teleporting to a dungeon to get gear faster if releasing better gear raids sooner isn’t qol?

wait what??? is ICC out at launch??? why

Dramatic much? We will make it to launch just fine. LFD did NOT make wotlk great. LFD was NOT the entire WOTLK experience.

i’m starting to think you really don’t know what is considered as QoL.

Im sure they know, they just dont have a viable argument so they are reaching

My point is they add some stuff and left some. But none if it is mandatory. They chose the stuff to add and cam easily chose rdf. So your point of a timeline is moot. Thats my point.

Well I want icc on release if dungeon finder happens

retail tourist, we dont want it

When you boil it down to facts like this, it really illustrates exactly how bizarre the situation is.

People who want an authentic Wrath are told to go play Retail by people celebrating a Retail tool has replaced a tool from Wrath.

Sometimes I think I’m reading an Onion article.

Im sure you saw this coming, but we are heading into 3.3.5.

In 3.3.5 we had RDF. This topic wouldn’t be one if Blizzard left it in. No one actually cared, there were no Anti-RDF posts prior to the announcement. It was assumed that it would be there for use.

It was intentionally removed citing “the community wants this removed” but the community didn’t have a say in it.

It really doesn’t matter, they gave us LFG and everyone loves it unanimously, and wouldn’t change a thing.

There was no issue until there was an issue. It’s a fake problem that will self correct itself, it’s just a matter of time.

While I am all in for RDF I will admit that it isn’t going to make or break the game. I made it through Wrath just fine the first go around without it I’m sure I can do it again.

Now I do feel that having RDF for the leveling experience is a must in the lvl 1-70 zones because all those areas are going to be completely dead and it’s going to be dreadful leveling a new toon

I’ve given it some thought. You are right, it isn’t Wrath of the Lich King without RFD. It’s Wrath of the Lich King Classic

no. it isn’t being discussed. There is a big difference between a raid tier and how you form a group. they are not even the same classification.

Oh, you sure about that? “Classic” (what a joke) is written on retail code, and now features retail features. So if anyone is the tourist, it’s anyone who still believes that the “Classic” game is anything other than Retail “Classic”.
