ive played every single expansion of WoW, and i didn’t go back and play Classic or TBC because i didn’t want to sit in town or at a stone an spam for an hour to get a group going. since this new Group Finder feature came out thats exactly what ive been doing. WOTLK was my fav expansion but i refuse to play it if im just going to be spamming in chat all day to get a group going.
We all want RDF back.
or we wont make it to WOTLK Launch.
Pick a chad class to skip the line.
HINT: It’s not DK.
so on top of that im paying 15$ for a 20 year old game i also cant play the role/class that i want?
is that what youre saying?
Did you not play for the first half of the expansion or over half of the content???
Dungeon finder didn’t even exist until icc came out comrade. That’s quite a few patches away
Dual spec didn’t come out until 3.1. Tome of cold weather flight didn’t come out until 3.2. Battleground experience didn’t exist until 3.2. Queueing for bgs from anywhere was added in 3.1. All of them exist at the start of Wrath Classic.
I could go on and on and on. I could list a dozen examples from Classic and TBC Classic. The patch a system was released has not mattered for the past three years. But it suddenly does for RDF…and only for RDF.
On top of all that, Blizz has said RDF will NEVER be in Wrath Classic. So your statement is even more irrelevant.
Reducing WOTLK to a queuing interface is very sad. I’m very much looking forward to experience everything wrath has to offer.
If you actually played WotLK you’ll remember that Dungeon Finder (as it was called then, and always has been), wasn’t introduced until around a year after the expansion launched.
At this point, it’s difficult to take these “We want RDF” threads as anything other than trolling.
It’s technically still Wrath for at least a year. After 3.3 would have launched, then it’s no longer Wrath.
It will still be wrath. Wrath can’t be reduced to a queuing interface.
What’s a chad class?
But apparently Retail can.
Wasn’t wrath reduced to…
“LF X please be above Y gearscore?”
Not in my opinion. Retail is the results of looooots of decision. RDF being one of these. To be fair I don’t hate retail, it’s just a totally different game.
Wait till you find out what patch it’s launching in
Nope. Not in mine experience of it. The content was great, and will be great.
People don’t log/gear check for dungeons.
Any class I am playing, of course.
Well, I do hate it. And I hate seeing Wrath turned into it by Blizz removing RDF. I want Wrath. If I wanted the Retail max level dungeon experience, then I would play Retail. But that experience doesn’t even use RDF. So people saying ‘go play retail if you want RDF’ are just plain wrong. Or trolling.
It is a bad argument to just tell you to go back to retail. It’s a complete different game. There just are people who don’t want RDF, people who want RDF, and a huge huge huge gap between the two population that seems impossible to bridge. Blizz have and will leave one of the two sides down.
It’s not impossible at all; it’s incredibly easy: give us an authentic Wrath. That’s it. That’s literally all they have to do. If you don’t want to play Wrath, then don’t play Wrath. Why should Blizz concern themselves with players who don’t want an authentic Wrath? That’s literally the point of this server.
