I have ran the correct difficulty multiple raids and instances across multiple expansions on 4 different toons and NOTHING has dropped, mounts, recipes, rare mogs, ZERO. INCREASE the percentage to at least 10-20% I have 6 more toons to run thru, if I still get nothing I’m done trying after today. You gave us measley 5% on weekly only instances and raids, might as well kept it the same,
I’m starting to think it’s a fake buff too considering there is nothing indicating it’s there, weird they can tell you about every other buff, experience, rep etc but not on this one but increase the percentage, damn. Yeah the rares I want don’t drop at all with this 5% buff I guess it REALLY wasn’t meant to be & I’ll permanently stop trying

5% isn’t going to be noticeable at an individual level. Across the whole playerbase sure I guess it will work out the way Blizz’s spreadsheets say it should. But if you are looking for a specific mount or are used to farming for these things you won’t notice any difference with a 5% buff.

5% is still 1 in 20 which isn’t huge odds, it’s just better than 1%.

While I am not defending Blizzard altering things at the last minute, people have been getting mounts all over the place in my guild (i got 3 mounts today myself), i’d even argue that it seems higher than 5%.

Who says they even buffed the drop rates? They could just be trolling everyone and not changed anything and no one would be able to tell the difference at all with a 5% buff. You could only measure a buff that small across a large sampling of the playerbase.

Yeah blizzard is definitely going to risk their reputation and litigation in EU over 5% rather than just doing it
Actually considering you can run those instances only 4 times this month per character, and let’s say you have 50 alts you can’t run them all in one day.
Unless you are a basement dweller living from streaming and begging or parents money, then this buff is welcome.
I’m not a huge mount collector , so for me it’s the same. 1% or 10% doesn’t matter to me
